first thing I do when I get up is checking my phone. I know, that this is not a healthy morning routine but is there anything better then waking up and staying in your warm bed for a while scrolling through social media? Anyway, this morning I woke up to a message from Christian: Good Morning honey ♥
Aww, what a sweetheart! I quickly type an answer: Good Morning Handsome ;-*
Our texts go on for a bit about what our plans for the day are and we decide to meet up to watch a movie. I stay in bed for bit longer and through my Instagram and Twitter. I love school vacation - you can just lay in bed without an annoying alarm going off that needs to get you up and ready for school. When I finally get myself out of bed, I go downstairs to make myself some breakfast.
"Why are you up so early?" my mom jokes, when I enter the kitchen.
"A good morning to you too." I laugh and open the refrigerator to get the milk can. I pour it in a bowl with cereal and then sit down on the couch to eat while watching a Netflix show.
"You're dad and I are going to a restaurant tonight." she says.
"It sounds like I'm not invited."
"Well, yes." she laughs.
"Okay, when are you leaving?" I ask.
"6 pm. And Lynn, please be decent." she warns.
"Mom, I won't throw a party. I'm just going to watch a movie with Christian."
When I mention his name her face seems to get a worried expression.
"I wanted to talk to you about something." Oh no..
"About?" I pause the show and wait for her to sit down on the couch with me.
"Well I think it's time to get you on the pill." she suggests nervously. Well, this is uncomfortable for me too, mother.
"If you want so."
"I don't want to be a grandmother, well at least not now." she says and laughs awkwardly.
"I understand, so if you feel safer with that."
"It's for your safety."
"I know, that's why I'm okay with it. I'll make an appointment."
She seems relieved. She hugs me and then leaves upstairs. I message Christian right away:
We can watch the movie at my house. My parents are out on a date ;)
His answer comes immediately: Sounds good. When shall I'll be there?
Me: How about 6.30 pm and then I'll make dinner for you?
He: I'm looking forward to see your cooking skills ;)
Me: You'll see. I'm good!
I smile and then go back upstairs to change out of my Pyjama into some sweatpants and an old comfortable t-shirt. But not before taking a relaxing shower (and getting some necessary shaving done). After that I just lay back in my bed and watch some gossip girl. If you're wondering why I'm still watching it, I re-watch it because it's my favorite TV show and most suitable for relaxing days at home.
"We're leaving. Don't do anything you're not ready for!" Mom says and then quickly leaves my room. Oh no! Was that referring to Christian and me alone in the house? I didn't thought something like that could happen today. Is he thinking we'll finally doing it? Am I even ready for it?! Shit. I'm so nervous now.. Thanks mom.
Anyway I crawl out of my bed and go downstairs to start cooking. I decided on pasta. My favorite meal. I put the noodles in a pot and let it start cooking. Then I'll prepare the meat sauce and cook it also. While cooking I dance to loud music. Right now it's One Direction's Illusion. I sing loudly:
