AYA's POV
Monday again, but this day was a bit different because it was the start of the school event, which is the intraschool athletic program inside the school.
Buti nalang at hindi na ako pinilit pa para maging muse ng team kundi I wouldn't attend the event today. But I don't go to watch, I just go to make attendance and after that I will leave and go to the library or just go back to our dorm.
Because I was easily bored, I went to the library after pagsalita ng dean agad akong nagpaalam na akong nagpaalam na akong nagpaalam na akong nagpaalam na akong nagpaalam na akong Dahil nga busy, lahat hindi na ako nagtaka kung bakit walang studyante doon, kaya solo ko ang whole library ngayon, even the librarian wala, so I guess I'm really free today. I just put my airpods on my ears and read our next lesson.
While I'm in the middle of reading my books and lessons, I heard a noise and it looked like some guy was talking near my place, but like I always do, I don't pay any attention to those things and just ignore them.
After a few minutes, I didn't hear any noise anymore.
After an hour of reading, I heard a loud crowd cheering, so I guess the game had already started.
I continued reading my books for almost 3 hours, then I suddenly got bored, so I decided to go to our dorm and just rest.
When I'm in the dorm, there's nothing I want to do but sleep.
Then I got woken up because I just heard my friends talking outside and knocking at my door, so I immediately opened the door and they went inside my room.
Oh gush aya, you just sleep here the whole day? Kate asked me.
"Not really," I said.
You know, Aya, you should come with us next game. It was very fun, and besides, there are a lot of good looking guys there, especially the Campus Crush guy. Chloe giggles while saying it. I just rolled my eyes at her.
"I'm not interested," I fired back.
"So nandito kalang talaga the whole time?" Kate asked me again. I was about to answer when she immediately spoke again.
"We're finding you inside the school, and we also checked you inside the library, but you're not there." She said, worriedly.
"Yeah, we also called you on your phone, but it's not reachable, so we got a bit worried." Kyla added.
"Sorry girl, I just got bored and tired reading some lessons, so I decided to go back here and I didn't notice that I was already sleeping." I said.
"You should text us next time or be with us." Kate said

"I also agree, you know, it's fine to get unwind and get out of your comfort zone too sometimes." Kyla
Okay, I'll think about it, but I can't promise it and please not at the next game. I said, and they just nodded.
"Hmm, by the way, did you also think about attending the upcoming freshman night this Friday?" Kate changed the topic and asked me
"Uhm, okay, I'll attend, but just for an hour," I said, and they shrugged.

Day went off and, like what I said to them, I didn't join them in watching the next game. I just spent the whole day watching and hearing some of the music of my favorite artists. I also read some books for an hour before I sleep.
While my friends continue to attend the event at school and cheer on their favorite team.
I just didn't have any interest in that kind of stuff, not only because it's already predictable who's going to win, but because I just didn't find it interesting at all.
Actually, during my elementary and junior high school days, I was very active and interested in that kind of stuff, but when I entered senior high school, my mood suddenly changed for some reason. Maybe I already made up my mind to just focus on goals during that time.
Pero sa pagkakaalala ko, nabored lang tagala ako, kaya nagsawa na rin siguro, and besides, I find it more relaxing to focus on my academics rather than waste my precious time on that stuff.
And it made sense, since I excel more when I focus on my studies. I reached my goals, making it to the top and having higher grades, but the pressure and expectations got higher too.
But I manage myself well under pressure. I guess you just have to focus more.
Thursday, before freshman night.
My friends were preoccupied with deciding what to wear the next day, while I sat on my bed and watched them.
Oh gush, I'm so frustrated. Damn this dress. Kyla said, with a frustrated look, and it made me laugh.
"Finally," Kate said, with a successful smile. It's like she won something.
"Gush, I need help." Chloe said
Which one is better?" she asked me.
Since I'm into fashion trends a little, I chose a simple but high-fashion dress.
"I think that the purple one is much better on you since it will fit on your curve." I commented.
Oh yah, I like it too. Thanks Aya, you really had good taste in fashion. "She replied.
"Aya! Can you help me to choose too please? " Kyla was begging for help too, and I laughed a bit before nodding at her.
"The white one looks good on you," I said.
"That's what I want to do! Thank you!" she said. I just smiled at her.
"How about you, Aya?" What will you wear? Do you already have a dress? You know what I can lend you?" Kate suddenly asked me with a curiosity.
I have some dresses inside and don't worry, I have already chosen one. Besides, I'll be back here in an hour". I said.
"Yeah, "Kate smirked and rolled her eyes, which made us laugh.
