AYA'S POV
When I opened my eyes, white siling and bumungad were saking mata. Then Lance immediately asked me before he called the doctor.
"Aya, I'm glad you're awake already." "How are you feeling now?" He asked, since I had just woken up and I still didn't know what had happened last time.
"Are you okay?" He asked me again.
But I just nodded, and he called the doctor after that.
"Ms. Swift "Finally you're awake now," Carroll the doctor said before she checked and ran some tests.
"Aya, we're glad that you're awake, Ms." Nikka said, and I just smiled. I'm still confused. Did I sleep too long?
"She's fine now, but we still need to do some further tests to insure her," Carlyle said.
"Thanks Doc." Lance said
"Welcome, Ms. Swift; you still need to gain your energy, okay," Carlyle said, and I nodded before she went outside.
Then Lance came to my side, and we talked.
"I already called Kate and Carl to inform them that you are already awake," Lance said.
"How long did I sleep, Lance?" I ask him.
"You should ask how many months did you sleep?" He corrected me, so what's the date now? Why do I sleep too much? Did the surgery go well or not? I asked in my mind.
"You've been lying here for almost six months, Aya, because of the accident," Lance said. "What!" by chance?I ask myself again if I can still relocate.
"You didn't remember?" Lance asked me again, and I nodded. He then began to tell me everything.
"While you were driving to come here, you got hit by a ten-wheeler truck, so you wouldn't be able to undergo your surgery, and you got a comma for almost six months." That's why me, Kate, and Lance took care of you." He explained, and then a sudden memory of the incident came into my mind.
(I was driving, heading to the hospital for my surgery, when I saw a truck coming, and it all went black after that.)
"Are you okay?" Lance panicked.
"Yes, I'm fine." I just remember what happened that day. "I said
"So Kate and Carl came here just to take care of me while you were at work." I asked him because Kate and Carl had come to see me and I didn't know what he was talking about.
"Yes, they both spent Christmas here with us, and you were supposed to see your first Christmas here, but you were still in a coma at the time," Lance explained.
After that, I rested, and the next day I nagised ako nong dumating sina Kate at Carl.
Kate said while crying, "Oh my gosh, Aya, finally you are awake now." Kate hugged me.
"You don't know how worried we are, Aya," Kate added while hugging me, so I hugged her back.
"We're really happy that Lance called and said you're finally awake, so Carl and I immediately booked a flight here," she said.
"Hi Aya, we're really glad now that you're awake," Carl said, and he also hugged me a bit.
"Thank you to the both of you. Lance already told me about how the both of you sacrifice your time just to take care of me, and I'm really thankful for it. I said
"No problem, Aya," Carl
"Yeah, Aya, we did it not only for you, but we also want to do it." KAte
Then pagkatapos na nagapatuloy lang din ang kwentuhan until Doctor Carlyle came in again for the test.
