Chapter 10

AYA's POV ❤️

We just had classes every day, as usual, but this time a few of my plans changed, such as having library time every end of class, and I now attend our org meeting every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

During the first meeting with the organization, I also got to know all the students who joined the organization. We also talk about something related to our school.

I also told my friends that I joined the organization and they were fine with it since it's good for me also.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays after class, I had the opportunity to go inside the library and read for a while before heading to our dorm.

My whole weekdays were quite busy for me because of my tight schedule, and besides that, those nights I spent my night time studying for our lesson and the next lesson, so I got less time to bond with my friends.

On Friday night, I was about to study again, but I remembered that tomorrow was Saturday, so I got more time to spend on studying. I went outside my room and joined my friends in the living room.

"You're not going to study now," Kate asked me.

"Yeah, probably," I said.

"Uhm, that's good for you then." She said

So how is the organization? Kyla diverted the tension.

I heard you had a good time with them, huh, and you had less time with us, na? We're starting to envy them, "Chloe said.

"Hm, yeah, it was fine," I said.

By the way, Aya, can I ask a question?" Chloe asked me.

"Yeah, sure," I said.

"Are you avoiding us, because it seems like you've been trying to get far from us this week?" she asked.

"No, it's just that I'm really busy on my tight schedule and I'm not really into meeting other people, like you know, I'm not that sociable as you guys," I explained.

"Uhm, yeah, sorry for that. We shouldn't force you, but at least you can just try, right?" She said

"I have an idea. Why don't you join us tomorrow since it's your free day and we can bond with them as well?" Kyla suggested.

Yeah, why don't you come with us tomorrow? Just once, if you are really not into that, we will not force or bother you again about it. Just for Tomorrow, "Kate also suggested, and I think she got the point, so I agreed.

Okay, I'll come with you tomorrow, but I'll be late because you know, Kylien, our org leader, asked me to meet her tomorrow too, just for a minute to talk about something about the org. "I said."

Okay, we'll text you the location and then call you whenever we are, so you should keep in touch with us," Kate said, and I just nodded.

"So tomorrow must be a good one," Kyla said.

"I'm sure your perspective on them will change as you get to know them better, especially since Aya will be joining us," Chloe said.

Saturday '

I wake up early since I have to meet Kylien first before going to the location that Kate sent me to.

after eating breakfast, brushing my teeth, and taking a bath. I just put my robe on first before I put on my casual attire to go outside. I just wear my white Air Force Nike shoes, dinner high-waisted jeans, and a peach t-shirt with a huge print at the back and a small quote in front, then I fix myself. I also put liptint on my lips to give color to my pale lips and did my brows before I went to Kylie.

When I arrived at the school, in the organization room, I saw Kylien fixing something.

I'm sorry, aya.I badly need your help, "she apologises."

"It's fine, so what can I help you with?" I asked her.

Can you do a revision of these papers because, you know, some of our previous work got rejected, so can you do it? I just can't do it alone. It was kinda hard to do all of it. I'm also working on half of it and I also had to attend some discussions with the other organizers, so I badly need you. "She said

"Yeah, no worries, but when will I need this? I asked her.

"On Monday," she said.

So can I just do it at our dorm? I'm sorry, I just needed to meet my friends today, "I said

"Yes sure, thanks in advance," she said.

Okay, I'll go ahead, "I said before heading out of the school because my phone kept on ringing and I knew Kate was furious now.

I immediately answered the call when I went outside.

Where are you? Are you going to come? " She asked me

"Oh yes, I'm so sorry. I'm on my way. I'm just waiting for the grab that I booked." I said.

"Okay, text me when you're near. Take care," she said before ending the call.

When the grab arrived, I immediately went inside the car and told the driver the location. The car stop restaurant looks really luxurious. I paid and thanked the driver before I got out of the car. I felt weird because I had felt a little bit nervous before I went inside the restaurant.
