LANCE'S POV
Aya was still lying in bed here at the hospital now. She's been sleeping for almost four months since the accident happened.
I've just been taking care of her since that day. I'm still working, but I gave her more time because of her current situation.
I just can't leave her alone. Even when Kate and Carl fly and come here to take care of her, they still need to go back to the Philippines to finish their work.
"Hey Sea," wake up! "You've been sleeping here for almost four months, and a lot of your workmates and schoolmates already miss you," I said while staring at her face. She's still beautiful, even though she's been sleeping for the past months.
"Christmas is near, so you better wake up now to witness and experience your first Christmas and new year here at sea," I said while sobbing.
"Kate will come here again to take care of you next month, so wake up." I said.
The surgery was canceled because of the accident that she had.
FLASHBACK
"Hello, who is this?" I answered when an unknown number called me while I was working.
"Hi, is this a friend of Ms. Aya Swift?" The person in line asked me.
"Yes, I am. "Why is there something wrong?" I ask
He said, "Uh, yes, I'm here to inform you that Ms. Swift is in the hospital now because of a car accident." He said, "So I got shocked, and I panicked."
"What is she okay?" How is she? What hospital did they buy her from? I asked while panicking.
Then the caller gave me the name of the hospital and its location, so I immediately went there.
When I arrived at the hospital, they were already reviving her, and I also caught a glimpse of her face and her body, which were full of blood. Because of that, I cried before they took me outside to wait.
Luckily, after 2 hours, the doctor came out and told us that she's stable now. But because of that, she had some minor bruises, and her head got hit. That put her in a coma. That's why she's still sleeping right now.
Kate's POV
"Carl, I'll go now." "Okay, take care here while I'm not around and be careful so that Kyle and the others will not notice what I'm hiding from them." I told Carl before I went to the U.S.
Okay, take care too, and send my message to Aya okay, "he said before I left. "
Then after that, I fly to the U.S. After 15 hours on the plane, I finally arrived again for the 3rd time here to take care of Aya. Simula kasi ng maksidente ito ng araw na dapat ooperahan siya, but bago pa man siya makarating sa hospital. She got into an accident. Lance called me that day, so hindi namin alam ni Carl ang gagawin hanggang 2 days after ng decide kami na magsalitan ni Carl sa papunta sa U.S. para alagaan si AYa since may worked din with Lance and sometimes inaalagaan din siya ng mga workmates niya.
"How is she?" I ask Lance when we arrive here at the hospital where she is.
"She's still like before, but she's recovered a bit, but she is still in a coma and sleeping," Lance answered.
"Until she's like this," I said.
"She already suffered a lot," I added.
"I don't know too, but hopefully she'll be fine after all of this," he said.
Then Lance just instructs me on what to do again while he's not around because he has a meeting at work. kaya naiwan akong mag-isa ulit sa dito, kaya naisipan kung kausapin si aya kahit pa hindi ako nito nakikita o naririnig, pero sabi nila naririnig daw ako nito.
"Aye, Christmas and New Year's have passed, but I don't remember what Carl and Lance were doing at the time, and I didn't witness the first Christmas here," I explained.
Flashback
"Merry Christmas, Kate." Carl
"Merry Christmas, Carl," I added.
"Merry Christmas, Aya," Lance said to Aya while Aya was still in bed. Naisip ko tuloy paano kaya kung si lance nalang ang minahal ni Aya masasaktan kaya siya ng ganun? Magkakasakit parin kaya siya? Mangyayari parin kaya to lahat sakanya? Pero ganun ata talaga, eh ito ang plano ni God for her, that's why she needs us.
"Merry Christmas, Aya," I said and hugged her even though she was in bed and I couldn't stop myself from crying again.
"Merry Christmas Aya," Carl also said, "Habaang pinapatahan ako."
"She was supposed to witness and experience her first Christmas now," I said.
The flashback has concluded.
"Sorry again, dahil kailangan mong pagdaanan lahat to," I said as Aya woke up.
"Sana lang talaga nalaman ko ng mas maaga, baka sakaling hindi ka pa aabot sa ganitong lagay, I'm really sorry Aya," I said while crying.
I return to the Philippines after five days of caring for her.
I've been in the Philippines for three weeks now.
I was currently talking kasama with Kyla, Chloe, Kyleine, and Ana tas yung mga boys when Lance called me.
"Excuse me," I said to mask the lance's tawag.
"Hello", sinagot ko agad ang tawag ni lance pagkalabasas.
"Kate, I have good news for you," Lance said.
"What is it?" Kinakabahang tanong ko.
"Aya is awake" sabi ni lance na ikinagulat ko kaya agad akong bumalik sa loob at sabihin kay Carl.
"Carl, oh my gush" sabi ko carl at di inaalala yung mga kaibigan namin
"What? How is she? " Carl, Tanong ni
"She's awake" sabi ko at na parang ikinagulat ng mga kaibigan namin, gush napalakas at pagkakasabi ko.
"Who's awake?" Kyle asked us in confusion, and nagpanic ako buti nalang nasalo ni Carl.
"Oh nothing bro, it's just my distant relative," Carl explained.
"Okay," Kyle.
Nakahinga ako ng maluwag.
Kate, Muntik!
Sige ka magalit kayo si Aya sayo pag nabuking kayo!
Oh my goodness, my heart is bursting at the seams!
