I regret ever agreeing to go because the moment I told Luis. He immediately hit me with tough questions.
Where are you going?
Who with?
How long you'll be gone?
You don't know? How do you not know? You should.
Why are you going there?I tried to answer as much as I could to get a "fine whatever" of some kind. Whatever will allow me to walk out the damn door.
He stared me down with an evil glare for what felt like an eternity.
I hated asking to leave the house. I hate having to lie too. It's a death sentence."Fine. What the hell ever."
I took a deep breath, "Thank you."
"Yeah. But be back around 10. At the latest."
10? That's weird. Usually the latest I can stay is 8. But I didn't ask and nodded. "Okay. I'll try."
"No.", his voice got into that rough tone, "You WILL be home by 10. No questions asked.""Okay."

I walk down the loud and busy sidewalk as my own anxiety causing me to squeeze the paper yet tremble as if I'm about to drop it.I go ahead and find myself getting close to where I needed to be. I wanted to so badly turn around and tell Elizabeth I went and didn't like it but she, unlike Luis, can tell I'm bullshitting.
Plus I already lied enough today. I don't wanna do it anymore than I already have to.
I brushed off the urge to wanna go back and force myself to go to the building the address led me to. I stood outside the door from an angle so people could past.I stared longer, battling every thought that told me to turn back and hope it will end itself. But it won't. We've been together almost three years. There's no ending to it.
I took a deep breath and pushed myself in the building.---Seb---
I stare at myself in the mirror after wrapping my hand in a bandage. Alex threw a glass vase at me and I got a cut on the hand I was blocking with. Luckily, avoiding my face.
I walk out of the bathroom, "so where the fuck are you going again?"
"I'm just going to work. They called me for a shift. I'll be back around 10 at the latest but I may be a bit late so don't freak if I'm late or haven't appeared"
"Whatever. I'm not worried about your ass getting kidnapped. You're not that handsome. No one wants you."
"And yet here you lay in OUR bed."He looked at me with an emotion I couldn't read, "That's because i pity your ugly ass. Don't worry. Once the opportunity comes along, I'm out." He looked back at the TV then back at me, "And don't you ever get smart with me again, bitch"
I nodded and grabbed my wallet because I know if I abandoned it, I'll be knee deep in debt.
I then head out and over to the building the address led me to.I kind of wanted to go back. But I wanted help out of there more so I push myself instead, hoping this is a new path to a better life.
---Third person---
These two seemed to be the most jittery there. Well, Chris showed all signs while Sebastian's was internal and it was hurt his gut.
They both sat across from each other in the circle, unaware they've seen each other before. Both of their heads were down. Both tapping their feet. Both staying silent as the others talked quietly amongst themselves.
Until the preppiest woman came in the room."Hello everybody! Welcome! I hope you all are excited as much as I am to recover or to take a step of being a strong individual."
A beat silence as everyone was making eye contact with the woman. Well, everyone expect Seb and Chris.Thoughts were rattling so violently in the boys heads that they didn't hear her trying to get their attention until she placed a hand on Seb's shoulder, causing him to jerk up.
"I'm sorry"
"You're okay. No apology necessary. Would you like to introduce yourself and tell us what convince you to join us?"
A long pause of hesitation waved over him, "um... "
"You don't have to."
He took a deep breath and shook his head. "No I'll do it. Thank you."
She smiled and gave him the floor.
