A/N: another college one. Different story line. Enemies to lovers. 💅🏻
Warning: violence/gay slurs

I clench my fist as a loud bang interrupted me from studying. I look up at Scarlett who was glaring at the  obnoxious group sitting behind me.
We both swear the group has some type of agreement with the librarian because they would have gotten kicked out two laugh sessions ago.
I chew on my lip in frustration as I looked back down then another bang happened and I finally spun around in my chair and shoved at one of the guys shoulder.
And it none other than Sebastian Stan himself, the most annoying boy I have ever known.

"The fuck are you guys doing?"
My voice was a soft volume but a stern tone.
"Having fun. Like you would know what that was, Mr. Hermit."
I roll my eyes, "can you knock it off? Scarlett and I are one of the majority here that are trying to study but can't because there's circus over here."

One of Sebastian's friend looks at me, "hey. Do you mind? We're trying to study. Stop distracting, Sebastian."
They both laugh loudly, and with Sebastian being a couple inches from me, it hurt my ears.
I bit my tongue from saying something I'll regret. I don't need to start a fight.
Sebastian then looks at Scarlett who was still sitting in her spot.
"Hey, Scarlett", he winked at her which he got the middle finger in response.

"Just stop the banging."
Sebastian stuck his tongue out at me like a toddler and agreed.
We both turn back at our table.

And just as soon as I thought I won, another bang hit the table behind me.

************
"That dickweed can go eat shit"
I was sitting in my dorm at my desk as Scarlett was relaxing on my bed.
I sigh, "honestly, I think he's an egotistical asshole."
I hear Scarlett move as if she was sitting up, "says the guy who was best friends with him until high school"
I turn and look at her, "don't remind me. He was different. Or at least, I believed he was. Now I don't know what happened. He's just an asshole."

Scarlett nodded.

Sebastian and I knew each other since the beginning of middle school and then fell out of our friendship once high school hit.

"Why did you guys stop being friends? I doubt it was something small because guys get over small shit faster than girls."
I bit my lip and shook my head, "it's nothing. People just end up revealing their true selves at the worse times, okay?"
She didn't ask anything regarding about the fall out between Sebastian and me.
It's better left unsaid then digging it back up.

"Either way, I believe he needs a taste of his own medicine"
I shook my head, "I'm not gonna provoke him"
She got up, "Chris! He provokes you everyday. Always wanting you to fight him or always annoying you to grind your gears and every time he gets no response, he comes at you even harder. You need to finally have a good comeback so he can leave you the fuck alone"
I look up at her, "I'm not gonna satisfy him. Never gonna give him what he wants. Then he wins."
Scarlett crosses her arms, "okay, Chris. It's your battle. You can fight it the way you want. If you call it fighting."

I chuckle as she lays back down on the bed. "Thank you for the independence, dear"
She smiled and looked back at her phone.

*******
Scarlett and I decided to do some homework at the college cafe. I knew Sebastian despised coffee and wouldn't dare to step within 50ft of the cafe. I didn't tell Scarlett that and I regret yet I'm grateful knowing the information.
We sat in silence until another friend of ours came and joined us.

"Hey, Liz."
She smiled at Scarlett, "Hey Scarlett."
She looked at me, carrying the smile, "Hi Chris"
"Hi Liz"
She sets her notebook on the table, "how have you guys been?"
"Oh I've been great. Can't say the same for Chrissy here"
I roll my eyes and look at Scarlett as she gives me an "innocent" smile.
