6/23-24/2020- When The World Ends

TW- Existentialism, religion, and oblivion.

When the world ends,
Will we feel pain?
Will pain still live on after humanity is gone
In the ghost of the earth
As life is snuffed out like a cigarette?

If there is a god,
Will they welcome us,
Or turn us away at the pearly gates,
Because we left their beautiful planet in shambles?

Will music die out,
Or will it carry on through heaven and hell
As we wander through the streets of the afterlife,
Our old lives long gone?

When the world ends,
Whether it be by man or fate,
Will we be able to say goodbye,
Or is there no point,
As the ending is the final goodbye for us all?

When the world ends,
Will someone hold my hand?
I'm scared of oblivion,
And I would very much like the last thing I feel to be love.
