But Jisung felt rather comfortable to label that sentiment as awkwardness.

Perhaps, he really was. Or it was just a failed attempt to make his flight mode calm down; which wasn't working well but he seemed content with it.

So, let's not question his comprehension here because he was quite visibly struggling.

A little too visible.

Now if we try to roughly sketch the scene that is responsible for all the struggle, we would be able to unfold a few but striking sights

Two boys, lying on the same bed with adequate distance between them.

The darkness in the room long gone; dim rays of moonlight seep into the room as the window stays open. Barely any wind to make any hustle.

But some sort of sound could be made out. Is it audible?

No.

Does Jisung thinks it's audible?

Yes.

It's booming in his ears, convincing him that everyone can hear it but in truth, no one does.

Not even the person lying next to him.

Jisung is constantly pondering all the casualties that can happen to him after all the heavy workout his body is doing. And that is, while lying still.

Still as the stagnant air, as his brain makes a bajillion fragments in a second. His heart isn't helping much too, pumping more than enough blood to his skin.

But to Jisung, only these two rascals were being hyperactive.

Was that so?

No.

This was until a small sigh finally broke the silence, causing Jisung to transiently cease any sort of motion ("but there wasn't any to begin with, right?")

"It's been an hour. One whole hour of you twisting and turning in your bed. And you said you were tired"

Renjun's soft voice sounded in the room, effectively defrosting Jisung's unmoving state.

"I-I am tired, very tired actually. Too tired to sleep"

Jisung did a celebratory dance in his mind to have made a sensible statement.

"Doesn't look like it."

Shifting from his previous position, the boy got up to leave.

"Wait! You said you will help me!"
Jisung panicked.

This was too early. He had only just started realizing that his state wasn't imagination, that this was 100% real.
