Lapis's POV:
I walked back into the dorm, everyone just lying on their beds, not doing anything. I have a surprise for all of them.
"Hey guys!"
Ranger: Yo!
Dia: Sup, partner.
Vermillion: What do you want? Need us to run and find a dust cartridge for you? Lend you Lien to buy useless junk with-
Ranger punched him in the arm.
Ranger: Continue.
"Remember when we said two days ago how cool it would be to start a band?"
Dia: Yeah?
"Well, I talked to Ozpin, and he said we can perform during the Vytal Festival!"
Ranger: Awesome! So, what instruments we got?
"Bass guitar, an electric guitar, 5-piece drum kit, and a mic."
Ranger: Dibs on bass!
Dia: I'll help keep the rhythm.
Vermillion: Suppose that leaves me on electric.
"And I'm lead vocals."
Dia: What're we gonna call ourselves, anyway?
Vermillion: The Vermillions!
We all just shout no.
Ranger: Blades of Justice?
"Eh... Sounds better as a team attack name."
Dia: How about Lavender Flame?
"I love it! It fits our team so well."
Ranger: So, when are we gonna get our instruments?
"I'll be shopping for them sometime next week."
Ranger: Cool.
"All right! Starting today, our band shall be known as Lavender Flame!"
Ranger: Yeah! When's our first gig?
"Ozpin said our first performance is in two months. We have until then to come up with a setlist."
Dia: So, what's the plan?
"Prayer Of The Refugee, Deify, I'm Alive, Fade To Black, Ruby, and Welcome To The Jungle. I feel we can learn all that by then."
Dia: Kinda short, don't you think?
"Yeah, I don't want to overwork ourselves. Between classes and the tournament, it's better to go small scale."
Vermillion: That's impossible! There is no way I am-OW!
Ranger: You done?
"Thank you, Ranger. Now, let's work for our gig in two months!"
The entire band cheered "Yeah!". Beacon, I hope you're ready, because the Lavender Flame is coming for ya!
