Gab's POV

"No."

I stared at him for a minute. Silence filled the whole room. No one dared to speak. I don't know what to say either.

"You are an offspring of the both of us." I looked at Persephone when she spoke. I was so confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Your mother carried you in her womb for 9 months for us." Kumunot ang noo ko, still processing what she said.

"I don't get it."

"My sweet, Zeus told me that I need to have human offspring. I asked him why but he didn't tell me." Napalingon ako sa aking ama. Tumigil na ito sa pagkain at ipinatong ang kamay sa lamesa.

"But I don't want to betray my love. I value loyalty beyond anything. I cannot and will not hurt my wife just because of Zeus's order. So Persephone and I talked about it and decided." Father explained. Eyes are straight on me.

"You are made from my soul, your father and mother's blood and genes. The combination of the three of us results in you. A wonderful, gorgeous and lovely child." dagdag pa ni Persephone.

"So far, you have not used the ability you inherited from me. You can only use your father's power. I don't know when it will come out, or if it will come out."

"Your mother became a vessel for us. She agreed to be the one who will give birth to our child. Although she's still your mother because you are partly human." Hades added.

"I've been watching you since you're growing up. Then I noticed that she was hiding. I don't know why. Until I got the news that her lover died, the father who you grew up with."

I gulped. Umiling ako at tumayo. "I-I still don't get it. I'm sorry. Excuse me."

I exited the dining hall and went to the room that I'm in earlier. I don't know whose room is this but I don't care right now. I'm still confused.

I sat at the bed and just stared at the ground. I don't know what to do. I feel lost. There's a lot of information to process.

"Hey."

Reu entered the room and sat on the ground, beside me. He's just quiet and comforting me with his presence. I appreciate it, really. We just met but he's already fulfilling his duty as my brother.

"Paano ako makakabalik sa school?" I sniffed. I didn't even notice that I cried.

"You're going back already?" Nagulat ito at napaayos ng upo.

"What am I supposed to do here?" I rolled my eyes.

"We.. can tour you around.. my castle.." Macaria suggested with a smile. Kararating lang nito at nakasilip mula sa pinto ng kwarto. Nasa likod nito si Melinoe na nakangiti.

I sighed, "I thought you all live here."

"Underworld is bigger than you think, sister." Nakangising saad ni Reu at pinisil pa ang ilong ko ng marahan. Tinulak ko naman siya at tumayo.

"Okay. Show me around then."
