Gab's POV

Bright banners, wild performances and crowd noises. The school never felt so much alive than ever. This is the first time that I witnessed the field filled with people. They dance to the blissful rhythm of the music played by professionals. Even I am grooving to it.

"Gab!"

I look back when I heard someone call me. It was Kamill, gesturing to me to come with her. I followed her without hesitation.

"Pasok daw tayong horror booth!" She exclaimed. I almost laugh with the thought of a corny masked man scaring the heck out of us. I'm not fond of horror things but I like watching people's dumb faces, running for their lives.

Wala na akong magawa ng hilahin niya ako. Nadatnan namin ang iba pang mga kaibigan na nasa harap ng sinabi niyang booth.

I'm impressed with the decorations of the place. It will really terrify you if you have a weak heart. I can also hear someone's cry inside and their loud screams.

"Game na ba?" Tanong ni Kai na nangunguna pa sa harap. I smirked when an idea popped into my head.

I bet someone's gonna cry later.

"Tara na kasi. It's going to be fun!"

We were about to enter the booth when Zeike arrived with his sulky best friend, Callum. Masama ang timpla ng mukha nito at inaambahan pa ng batok ang kaibigan niya.

"I said ayoko." Napairap ako dahil sa accent niya. Halatang barumbado, pananalita pa lang.

"I said ayoko. Tsk, duwag." I quietly mocked him.

I stumbled when he bumped me and went inside the horror booth. Hindi na kami hinintay nito. Tahimik naman akong napalingon sa mga kaibigan ko.

Napailing na lang sila at may nang aasar pa na tingin. Hindi ko na sila pinansin at pumasok na lang din sa loob.

There's a guy who is selling tickets so that we can enter the booth. He's wearing a weird looking witch hat that definitely doesn't suit him. "15 drachmas per person!"

"Hoy, Nico!" Napakunot ang noo ko ng bigla silang magbatian ni Zeike. Mahina pa itong binatukan.

"Uy! Nandon si Callum oh!" Saad nito at itinuro ang lalaki. Sinundan ko ito ng tingin at nakita ko ang lalaki na tamad na tamad na nag aabang sa harapan. Hindi pa siya pumapasok.

Pagkatapos namin kumuha ng ticket ay pinapasok na kami agad sa loob.

Masasabi kong nakakatakot talaga ang lugar para sa mga matatakot. Malamig dito sa loob at napaka tahimik. Wala ka din masyadong makikita dahil madilim. Tanging ang mga kandilang maliit lang ang magbibigay ng liwanag.

I think they used some magic to make the jumpscares work. There are mannequins filled with blood, long vines and skulls that give off the scary aura.

I was walking behind them, beside me is Zeike who's constantly trying to scare everyone at the front. Tawang tawa siya kapag nagagawa niyang gulatin ang mga ito, lalo na si Jade at Kamill na halos magyakapan na sa takot.

It's like a maze inside so you will have a hard time trying to find a way to get out. Kaya pala wala kaming nakakasalubong na mga estudyante bukod sa mga nananakot dito. It's a very large place.

"Boo!" My friends screamed their hearts out when something dropped from above. It was a mannequin's head. The girl with a bloody dress laughed like a maniac.

"That's filthy." Ellaine kicked the head in the ground at bubugbugin pa sana ang babae ngunit hinila na siya ni Ate Roxanne paalis. Natawa naman ako at sinipa pa ulo ng madaanan.
