Chapter 26

Em's POV

I woke up to the sound of the door opening in the morning. I opened my eyes and saw Will's mother with he hand over her heart and looking like she is having a heart attack. I tilted ,y head to the side to ask what's wrong.

"Oh sorry, Emerald. I'm just not used to seeing a black wolf. You just look so scary" she replied with a shaky smile.

Oh yeah. Secret is out. Yesterday the whole pack found out about Roxxie's and my cat that we've been keeping inside the bag since five years old.

'It's ok' I mind link her.

"I'm just going to check on my son. You should shift and go eat something. They busy making waffles downstairs" she told me.

When she said that, I slid off the bed, trying not to wake up my mate. I landed quietly on the floor and shook my body like a dog trying to get dry then I walked towards the door.

"Aren't you going to shift?" Tyler asked.

'I'm going to scare my friends. If you hear screams, don't worry' I mind linked her and gave her a wolfy grin.

I stood on my back paws and used my front paws to push the door handle down to open the door and get out. I looked out into the corridor if I could see someone but there is no one. All the way to the kitchen I blocked my scent and stayed in the shadows. I only dodged a few people. Outside the kitchen door I used my smell and hearing to pinpoint where everyone is. Lucky for me, Mike is about to start eating his waffles but Yvonne kept on distracting him.

That's when an idea came into my mind.

For revenge.

I gave a deep manly growl from outside the door. I heard screams from inside and all of them ran out the back/kitchen door in fear because they still had yesterdays attack fresh in their minds. I quickly ran in, gobbled all Mike's food up then ran back to my, no our room. I shifted back human before entering.

Tyler is busy talking to Will. He is back in human form but has a almost healed bite mark on his side. I whimpered. I am sad because I never got there in time to save him from getting that bite. I was busy trying to close the trap door because it would'nt close from the inside. Will looked over at me then came over to give me a hug.

 "Hey Em, what's wrong?" He asked putting his chin on top of my head while hugging me.

"Your hurt" I choked out.

"It's not your fault. I'd still have it even if you never came to save me. Don't blame yourself" he said.

I felt my tears threatening to fall.

"It's not your fault" he repeated.

He loosened the hug a bit so he could put his lips on mine. It's slow but it still makes my world spin around. I know he's doing it to show that he still loves me. I pulled away from his kiss. I can't believe we kissing in front of Will's mom. I felt my cheeks ignite with redness. They laughed at me.

"So anyways before we were um romantically interrupted, I was telling Will that he has to lay back on any physical activities until I say so. So that means no daily runs in wolf form, no training and no wrestling with your friends" she said.

Will pouted and I giggled. Tyler gave me a carry on look. I stood on my tiptoes and leaned in for a kiss. He took the bait and was about to kiss me but I turned my head so he kissed my cheek.

"Do anything physical and no more kisses for you" I said and fluttered my eye lashes innocently.

After a few seconds he sighed and mumbled a fine. I gave him an award winning smile.
