Chapter 21

Will's POV

The party had already started when we arrived there. People were passed out already from all the drinking. Music is blasting out the millions of speakers and people were dancing like crazy under the flashing lights. We all looked at each other. My pack members in this group are surprised while Jayden's pack members in this group were smiling.

"See you much, much later" Roxxie said and dragged Zac with her into the crowded hall. Mike grabbed Yvonne and Ash grabbed Nikole before dragging them in the crowd. So now it's only John, Kaiden, Amber, kate, Jayden, Em and me left. Wow we have a huge group!

'Follow' jayden mink linked us.

I started to wonder how are we supposed to follow in this crowded hall then realized Jayden is going to the side of the hall towards the wall. We got confused but still followed. Jayden looked around for any wondering eyes before pressing a button on the wall, revealing a spiral staircase. After we all are in, Jayden closed the door. We walked up the staircase and we came onto a huge balcony looking over the dancers.

On the side there is a small for drinks and snacks and on the other is tables and chairs to relax. I tired looking for the other over the side of the balcony but it is no use because it's packed with people.

"Hey Will, do you want a drink?" John asked.

"Sure" I said grabbing the beer out his hand.

'We must not drink too much. I want to be sober enough to smell Emerald's scent to see if she's our mate or not' my wolf reminded me.

'A few drinks won't hurt' I replied.

After a while Em and Jayden began playing a game with shots. Whoever surrenders first if their super drunk loses. I admit it's a silly game but it was fun to watch Em win.

Song after song I danced with Em. Her scent never came and my wolf is getting impatient.

'How much longer until they get scents?' I mind linked Amber because she's the only one that isn't drunk because she's pregnant.

'Half an hour' she replied.

I gave up dancing because I'm tired so I sat next to Amber. I can already smell the scents from downstairs.

Half an hour past of me and Amber chatting via mink link and the others were still dancing. I jumped up when I smelled a wonderful scent of chocolate mint and vanilla ice cream. I walked over to Em and she smelled the same smell and the one word I was waiting for rang inside my head.

Mate.

'Amber I found my mate, it's Em' I mind linked her.

'Oh my gosh! I knew it! I'm so happy for you!' She replied.

I held Em close to me because my wolf is going all protective like an alpha wolf should be. Em didn't complain she loved the sparks flying when we touch.

'Will, I think we should go home. It's getting late' Amber mind linked me.

In an half an hour we finally got everyone into the car with Amber driving. The ones on our group that was downstairs passed out on the way home. It is the first time that I see Zac like this.

I carried the passed out ones in and Amber help the ones that never to get inside. When everyone finally fell asleep, Amber and I were exhausted. We said goodnight and went to our beds.

I couldn't fall asleep but I was tired. Then I realized that I need to have my mate in my arms to fall asleep. I got out my bed and went to Em's room.
