Chapter 12

Kaiden's POV

Mike walked off in Beta mode and Yvonne followed. Ash told one of us to stay behind to watch over Roxxie because those to are going to be a while.

"I'll stay" Zachary volunteered.

"Ok. The rest can come with us" Ash said "Em get the keys".

Em ran inside to get the keys and Ash lead us to the garage. He opened it and there stood five super cool black bikes and four black Ferrari's. Wow they got style.

"Oh my god!!! That's my dream car!!" Nikole screamed.

"Good to know" Ash said before kissing her in the forehead.

Nikole blushed and John chuckled next to her causing her to punch his arm hard. Em came back carrying two sets of car keys. She throw one of them to Ash and her caught it.

"John and Nikole will come with me. The rest of you can go with Em" Ash said.

We all went to the cars and sat on the perfectly leather seats. We can see the difference in the cars. Em had bright green linings on the seats and Ash had brown. One of the other cars has blue linings, which I'm guessing is Roxxie's and the other is just plain black for Mike's bad boy image.

We all buckled in. Em driving, William in the other front seat and Amber and I at the back. Em turned the key in the ignition and the car slowly purred to life. I felt like a five year old kid excited about toy cars.

"I loved this car already" I said.

"Hey!" Amber said next to me.

She looked at me and did her signature cute puppy dog face. With her long dark eye lashes she fluttered and twinkle in her eyes of playful sadness, I gave in. I leaned over and kissed her pout.

"You know I'll always love you more, my princess" I said before returning to my seat with a satisfied grin across my face.

Princess is my nickname for my mate because she's her daddy's little princess. At first I called her that to tease her but then she said that she's my princess now and forever will be so that's her nickname now.

"Cough cough whipped cough cough" William said coughing.

I glared at him. Emerald giggled. I can already see that they made for each other like Amber and I are. It's destiny and the Moon goddess chooses your second half, your love, that fills your heart and soul. Sometimes the moon goddess pairs up terrible mates that rip each others heart out. I guess its called Karma but sometimes innocent werewolf's die and the bad wolf is punished for causing their mate so much pain.

But for William and Emerald it's different. Something both happened to them in the past and made them depressed. I think it's the moon goddesses way to say sorry and help them stitch up their lives with love.

Em and Ash both went into the driveway before speeding off. I felt like I was in the fast and furious. Upbeat and party songs blasted out of Em's car's speakers. Now I wondered if being depressed was an act. When the song changed it proved I was wrong. It is called "Human" by Christina Perri. The car was immediately filled with calm, sad music. Em gripped the searing so hard that her knuckles are turning white.

'William, change the song please' I mink linked Will.

Will never answered back but change the songs until there was a happy song to lighten the mood. The catchy music did its magic and everything went back to its cheeriness and happiness.

We drove close to the human town that stands just outside the forest we live it. I saw all these flashing light and decorations and wondered what they were celebrating. Before I could find out, fireworks exploded in their colourful flashes. Since we are literary dogs our hearing is super good. The sound echoed in our ears and Em swerved on the road due to the sound.

"Uggh! What are they doing? It's illegal to do it next to nature" Em screamed while trying to drive away from the noise.

I looked in front of us and saw that Ash and them also had that problem. Em was trying her hardest to drive away from the road.

It toke us longer to get to the pack house because of the noise. Luckily it was distant now. We climbed out moaning on how our ears hurt. Ash and Em lead the way to the Alpha's office.

On the door is a gold plated sign that says "Alpha Jayden Ryder". Ash knocked before entering.

When we entered I saw a handsome well built teenager with a beautiful human blonde girl sitting on his lap. We sat on the couches and Ash quickly explained why we are so late. He nodded his head and quickly made a phone call. I'm guessing this is Alpha Jayden and Luna Kate. Luna Kate is the first human Luna in a long time. I'm guessing the moon goddess chose her for a reason. They look perfect together. I mink linked John, Amber, Nikole and Will to tell them if they haven't already noticed. Well now they do.

"So let's discuss the mate problem" the alpha said sadly like he is confused himself.

We all nodded our heads.

"I think this is happening because of Em's wolf problems" Luna Kate said.

"What problems?" I asked shocked.

I got writers block so deal with me. I also got exams soon so need to study and then there's homework.
