Kate's POV

Friday morning I woke up in the arms of my mate. Sometimes I wonder how lucky I am to be mates with a werewolf. Me! A human!

I still remember my second date with my mate...

#######FLASHBACK#######

Jayden took me out away from my rich, snobby parents, which I still despise today, to some picnic date in candlelight and underneath the half moon in the woods. After we ate I lay next to Jayden staring at the half moon, Jayden started too get a bit nervous.

"What's wrong, Jay?" I asked.

"N-Nothing" he said.

"Oh come on, I can't be that bad. Please don't tell me you breaking up with me" I said tears starting to form.

"No, no! I would never break up with you my amazing m- I mean girlfriend" he said easing my nerves.

"Then what's wrong?" I pleaded.

"I... I want to tell you something but you have to listen to me and not freak out, promise?" He said.

"Promise" I said.

He took a deep breath before starting "I'm a werewolf".

I admit I freaked out a bit but I listened to him as I promised and found out about werewolves, packs, Alphas (which my mate is) and mates.

I accepted him from the moment he asked me if I accept him or not. His smile made my night complete and he marked me the next day after I moved in with him and left my parents. I left my parents and they didn't even care about me. To them I was just there wasting their money. They never loved me and I never loved them.

Well anyway back to the waking up bit.

I woke up in the arms of my mate. He is still asleep and I stared at his handsome face. I smile and snuggled onto his chest. I heard his sleepy moan and his arms wrapped tighter around me.

"Morning" I chirped.

"Morning" he replied.

"Jay, I'm still tired from yesterday but I cannot fall back to sleep" I said yawning.

He chuckled.

"That's ok with me. I enjoy you in my arms the whole day. Take you time, Kate" he said.

I looked up into his eyes full of lust and smiled. I gave him a peck on his lips and snuggled closer to him if that's possible. Not even air can full the space between us. He chuckled and began stroking my hair.

"Did you see Em yesterday? Nikole did a great job with helping Em" Jayden said.

"Yeah, I still can't believe my eyes. Everyone of us tired and a total stranger comes along and she opens up to her. I still wonder what Em told her" I said.

"Me too. We all do. She's a part of our family and we all hate to see her depressed" Jayden said.

"Yeah but hopefully in the future there's no depressed Em but a happy Em" I said smiling.
