Will's POV

"Training. Training. Training!" Roxxie said jumping up and down.

"But it's your birthday" Zac complained.

"Please. Please. Please!" Roxxie begged.

Zac looked at me. I shrugged.

"Any of you object?" I asked the others.

No one did and Roxxie got excited and pushed everyone out the door. We went to the clearing and I ordered pack members to guard us in the shadows.

"Ok since you guys are new. You get to choose who to fight" I said.

"Ok" they said and chose someone.
We fought each other. Some fights ended quickly and some took a while. When it was Em's turn, every single black wolf here watched her every move.

'Will, why are they watching Em like a hawk?' Zac mink linked me.

'I'm not sure' I replied.

'Do you think they're watching for the thing that happened to Em last time?' Yvonne said.

'It's called her powers' Roxxie said.

'Whatever. You get what I'm saying' Yvonne said.

'What happened last time?' Eddy said.

We stared at him in shock. Mind links are private so only the people we choose can listen. We never let him join the conversation.

'How did you...' I asked.

'I'm a Black wolf Alpha. We can listen into any conversation even if we don't know the person. It's a pain sometimes in a pack because there's so many mind links happening. I don't choose to listen or not to listen. It just happens without my consent' he replied.

'What happened last time?' He repeated.

Amber told him everything. After that he became quiet. He suddenly stood up and walked towards Em with a timeout hand signal for Em and Mike. Eddy whispered something into Em's ear then held her hand. There was a small green spark but it disappeared quickly. He let go and walked back towards us. Em and Mike started again but Em quickly finished.

"Hey that isn't fair. What did you do? Helping someone fight is cheating" Mike moaned.

"I took away some of Em's pain. I never helped her fight" Eddy said.

Em sat on my lap and I felt how tired and painful her powers make her.

"Ryan, can you help?" Eddy asked.

"Sure" he said.

They went and fought again but not the normal type of fight. Ryan is the punch dummy. Just defending himself from the magic fighting skills from Eddy. Eddy threw green fire balls at Ryan and blasted Ryan with fire and green thunderbolts. We stared at them in interest. Eddy stopped and sat next to Em and me again. He looked drained.

"That was cool" Nikole said.

"Yeah but it looks like a pain for Eddy" Ash said.

"I'm fine" he said but I knew he's lying.

"Yeah and I'm a unicorn" Eden said.

He glared at his sister.

"What, it's true! You transfer her developing powers that hasn't been tamed into you and you also took her pain and giving her some energy she lost" Eden said.
