Mike's POV

After she said that I went full on Beta worried mode. It's when Betas gather all their thoughts together and completely forgot about things or people around them. Alphas and Enforcers also get it. I gets annoying sometimes because Roxxie gets the opportunity to sneak into my room to get something to blackmail me with. That's why I always lock my room. Just in case it happens.

There are ways to make wolves THINK their mates, right? Maybe there's something wrong with Em's wolf because last time I heard that she only shifted when she turned 10 like everyone else. Normally wolves ache to go to run and stuff. What if something happened before she became a member to this pack? What if something happened to Roxxie too? I mean she's in bed right now after a...a. I don't even know what to call it. Oh god!!

I sat down against a tree and put my head in my hands. I feel a headache coming along.

In a few seconds I felt arms slide its way around my neck. I flinched. Did I walk myself into a attack. Then I felt the wonderful tingles of my mate. Yvonne kneeled down next to me and put her head on my shoulder.

"You done?" She asked unsure.

"Think so but I have a headache now" I moaned. I let my hands drop to my sides and Yvonne never failed to take the opportunity to take one of my hands and rub calming circles on it with her fingers. I instantly relaxed.

"Yvonne" I whispered in her ear making her shiver.

"Yeah?" she said curiously.

"Did I tell you that I love you?" I said with a smile.

I did not miss the blush that flooded her adorable cheeks and the lust in her eyes.

"I love you too, Mike" she told me.

"Don't say 'too'. It sounds like you agreeing with me. I want your opinion" I said.

She looked at me, in my eyes, and said "I love you, Mike. You are my world, my love, my soul, my mate and I would never trade you for the universe".

I felt my wolf jumping for joy and wagging his bushy tail inside of me. I mentally rolled me eyes then put my hands on her cheeks that immediately flooded with a rosy, red colour. I slowly brought her forward and she leaned towards me. I kissed her pink, glossy lips. She moaned with the tingles that let loose on her lips. I pulled her onto my lap and licked her lips for access. She refused.

'Playing hard to get' I thought with a smirk.

My wolf gave me a mischievous idea. I quickly grasped her butt and she gasped. I quickly slid my tongue into her mouth and went exploring. She moaned with pleasure. After a while of our heated kiss, we broke apart to breathe. I rested my forehead against hers and stared into my beautiful mates eyes.

'Mark her! Mark her! Mark our mate!' my wolf screamed inside my head.

He was fighting for control but I didn't want to mark my mate yet. Only when the time was right.

"Come let's go inside" I whispered.

We stood up and walked slowly towards the house. We were still dazed from the amazing kiss. Still feeling the tingles erupt on our swollen lips.

We walked inside and I noticed everything was silent. I gave Yvonne a questioning look.

"They went to see your alpha about the situation. My brother stayed here to protect us if there's any attacks" she reassured me.

I nodded feeling my headache worsen. I rubbed my aching head and Yvonne lead me to the couch and left me there to get some headache pills and water. She came back to give me it then went away again. I whimpered already missing her company. I popped the pills into my mouth and drank all the water. I wanted to go and search for my mate but I was tired. It was a long day today but I loved our moment under that tree.

I heard Yvonne in the kitchen doing something and I wanted to go and check but was so tired so used my mink link to talk to her.

'What is my beautiful mate doing?'

'Its a surprise my handsome mate' she mind linked back.

'I don't want a surprise. I want my mate here' I moaned.

'Missing me already' she said and I'm sure she smirked.

'Nope'

'Yes you do!'

'No I don't' I defended.

'I knew it' she mink linked me and I heard her melodious laugh in the kitchen.

'Man! I'm whipped!' I thought.

A few minutes later, Yvonne came back with two plates of grilled cheese sandwiches. I haven't noticed how hungry I was until I saw it. I literally snatched it out her hands and began eating like a hungry wolf. Which I was. After our plates were clean, I put it onto the coffee table in front of our and kissed her quickly on the lips.

"Thank you" I whispered into her ear.

She shivered as she felt my breath on her ear. I started kissing her neck before she replied. She leaned her head the other way so her neck is exposed to me. I kissed her neck softly. She shivered again when I kisses her where all mate marks usually go. I kissed it multiple times until her arms wrapped around my neck, pulling me more towards it. Her mouth appeared directly next to my ear.

"Mark me" she barely whispered.

"I can't it must be special" I pulled back immediately whimpering to go back.

"I want the whole world to know that you are my mate" she said literally jumping off the couch.

I laughed at her impatience then went forward again. I licked the spot and she failed to keep the moan to herself. I grew my sharp wolf teeth and gently scraped it on the spot.

"Do it" she said almost breathless.

I drew back and shook my head. I just kissed my impatient mate passionately.

"I love you, King" I said using her strange but royal surname.

"I love you, Forest" she replied.

Then we had another make out session like before but more passionate.
