"I'm actually only fifteen."

I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to stare at him in surprise.

"You're only fifteen! Damn! You're already so fricken ripped! And I've been training as an alpha ever since I was a little pup! Then again... the adults never really did allow me to do much since I'm anemic or something like that. I'm not complaining though, training is exhausting and I'd rather sleep and eat junk food. Oh, sorry about that, I have a habit of telling people too much about me. My mom told me that would be the death of me one day. I knew she was joking so I didn't get offended. AAAAAAAND I should probably stop talking now."

"Wait... did you just say you went through alpha training? You're a fu–fricking alpha!" He shouted in disbelief, scanning me from head to toe. "You don't have the aura of one, or at least the intimidation and possessiveness of the ones I've met!"

"Oh, I get that a lot. Many of my friends have told me that I'm pretty laid back and not-so-arrogant. But that's probably due to the fact that we're really traditional. Like reaaaaaaaaaly traditional. Unlike other packs, we don't do challenges so we don't really have to worry about intimidating our pack members so that they won't challenge us. We tend to follow the reallllllly old wolf laws that says only the alpha pair rules so there isn't a beta, gamma, delta, or omega in our pack.

Other packs call us weird, but bish, we're literally the number one pack baby! Clearly you guys are doing something weird if any of you wolves haven't surpassed us in centuries! And I'm rambling again!  Sorry about that, but I tend to get overexcited if someone brings up anything that is pack related. It really helps with my arguing skills!

Annnnnnyway! Let's get back to bringing me home!" I shout excitedly as I start skipping forward.

I looked back to see him quickly regain his composure and speed in front of me.

We arrived at our destination about twenty minutes later.

Like my meadow, there was a clearing surrounding by trees. This time though, the trees weren't as densely packed together and there was a two-story cottage in the middle. A dirt pathway lead us to the front deck of the cottage, turning into stone the closer we got to the cottage. A beautiful arrangement of flowers lined the pathway, becoming denser the closer we got. The bright colors contrasted amazingly with the dark brown wood the cottage was made of.

I walked towards it before Jacob grabbed my hand to stop me. I turned around and tilted my head, questioning why he was stopping me.

"Just wanted to ask ya something. Do you have a problem, or well, something against rouges?"

"Hmm rouges? Nah, plus, why would I have anything against them? They're just trying to survive without a pack, which I know is clearly much harder. I can respect them for that and plus, rouges are just wolves that want to live the solo life or something horrible happened to their pack. You'd have to be an idiot if you think rouges are bad. Then again, a lot of packs exile their criminals for some dumb reason.

My parents would just kill 'em so that that way, they won't be able to hurt anyone or get reinforcements. Though, the council does find that cruel, but then again, they haven't done anything to stop them.

I also know that you're a rouge aaaand that you haven't done anything to hurt me so yeah. Rouges are pretty cool people. A lot more interesting the wolves in my pack."

"Didn't need a whole fricken TED talk, but I guess that's cool too. Glad that you're fine with us. Most wolves will kill us in sight without even trying to talk to us. So, thanks for not doing that." He smiled at me while scratching the back of his head.

I smiled back before saying,"You don't have to thank me for being a decent wolf. But your welcome! By the way, who exactly are we going to meet?"

I probably should've asked that before, but oh well. I mentally shrugged.

"You might've or might not have heard of the adults wolves in your packs talk about the Informers. But considering your an alpha, you've probably heard of them."

We walked slowly on the path so that we could continue talking.

"Oh yeah! My mommy talked about them a lot! Though, I liked to call them the Gossipers 'cause it makes them sound less intimidating and that's pretty much what they do."

Jacob snorted.

"Well, you're not completely wrong. Though Gossipers make them sound like they spread rumors and cause unnecessary drama. They collect information on everything and spread it around so that not only packs will know what's going one, but also rouges. They have a pretty good reputation as are known as kind wolves so I'm sure they'll be willing to help you.  Also, you still call your mother mommy? Aren't you twelve?"

"You don't call your mom mommy?"

We were on the front porch now, standing in front of the Informers door.

"Fair enough... hmm. Looks like no ones home." Jacob announced as he peeked through the window, not even bothering to knock on the door.

Taking a key from his pocket, he unlocked the door and barged in.

"Ummm, shouldn't you knock first? You do know it's rude to come into someone's home without knocking? What if they're sleeping? Also, how do you have key to this place?"

"The Informers gave me this key, now enough with the questions. Are you gonna come in or not?"

I quickly ran into the cottage as Jacob started closing the door on me.

"Why'd you close–wow. I knew the cottage was small, but I'd didn't think it be this compacted! It looks so cute and cozy!" I shouted, marveling the structure.

The dining room, living room, and kitchen were all condensed in one big room that took up the whole floor. A staircase next to the door led to the second floor, covering the kitchen only.  Everything was made form a dark brown wood, apart from the kitchen and couch of course.

I walked in to see the living room. A brown couch was a few feet in front of me, facing towards a window to my right. In front of the window was a flatscreen tv that was propped on top of a wooden cabinet. In front of the couch was a wooden coffee table with beautiful carvings of wolves running around. A fluffy, grey carpet was underneath the coffee table and couch.

"You should probably take a shower." Jacob said before I could finish marveling the whole cottage.

I immediately went to sniff myself before mentally facepalming. Right. Can't smell anymore.

"The Informers don't really like pack wolves. It's not that you stink or shi–stuff, and even if you did, rouges don't really give a damn. Go upstairs and open the first door to the left. The Informers won't mind at all. There's also a spare bedroom at the end of the hall, so use that if you're tired." Jacob explained, pointing to the upstairs.

I nodded before walking up, going on all fours. I looked down the railing to see Jacob holding a posted note.

"Looks like they won't be coming back till morning..." I heard him whisper before opening and closing the bathroom door behind me.

After my shower, I immediately went to the spare bedroom and plopped myself onto the bed. Burying my face into the pillow.

A medium turquoise slowly filled my mind with dashes of green swirling in. Calm and happy.

My wolf wagged her tail, enjoying the softness of the bed.

It's been so long since I've been on an actual bed. It feels amazing. I thought to myself before slipping into darkness.
