Jacob

I rested my head on her head, sighing in relief as I inhaled her soft scent. I closed my eyes as she rubbed her head against my chin, wagging her tail. I immediately let out a frown as I smelt the black wolf come closer, resting his head onto Mystic's body.

His smell... was defiantly an unpleasant one. Unlike the usually omega with calming yet bold scents, his scent was... ashy. Though, I couldn't specifically tell what it was as all I could smell form him was blood.

Fresh blood.

I let out a silent gulp as I opened my eyes and started leading them back home.

I glanced behind me repeatedly, watching the black wolf carefully as Mystic pranced around him.

My wolf let out a silent growl, slowing down to make sure Mystic wasn't too far away from us.

Why doesn't she notice the blood lust radiating from him?! And why doesn't she realize that his scent is covered with blood?! My wolf questioned, stomping his feet into the ground.

She probably got so used to the smell, that she doesn't even notice it anymore. It's obviously due to the hunters that imprisoned her. I wouldn't be surprised if she was forced to listen and watch those bastards torture the other pups there, I grimaced.

You're... probably right, he answered as he let out a mental whine. I don't trust him at all, he could be a spy! You know packs hate rogues almost as much as they hate omegas. I wouldn't be surprised if his pack was issuing him to attack us!

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. For all we know, Mystic could be right. We didn't want to do anything rash, we'll just keep a close eye on him and make sure he doesn't do anything dangerous.

Fine, my wolf said with a sigh. But, the moment he shows hostility towards us, I'm taking over and attacking him.

Deal.

We arrived home to see Marvin waiting at the door, crossing his arms over his chest and tapping his foot.

Well shit. I forgot we were suppose to be home thirty minutes ago!

Marvin glared at us, downing slightly as we all lowered our heads. Eli stood besides him, confused as he sucked in his thumb.

"Didn't I tell you that you were suppose to bring her home? Thirty. Minutes. Ago. Do you have any idea how dangerous it is right now?! There could be hunter hiding everywhere!" He scolded, gently tugging Eli back in as he motioned for us to come in.

Marvin day on the couch, putting Eli on his lap as he pointed for us to sit in front of him. We all sat in front of him, even the omega. The omega looked especially guilty, looking down at the ground, tail tucked, and even pawing at ground.

Such great acting! Give this wolf a fucking Oscar! My wolf let out a snort, shaking his head slightly in disapproval.

OH will you shut up?!

Fine! But watch him turn out to actually be a murderer! Mystic is way too kind and naive to notice, so you better protect her! My wolf grumbled before fading back.

I quickly snapped my attention back to Marvin as he yelled my name.

"Jacob, as the longest living person here right now, you should now how dangerous it is! You should especially know that Mystic is pretty weak and naive for an alpha. Especially since you know what she's gone through! And you should know full well, that even though you're a trained werewolf, you're still a pup. You could easily be overrun by hunters and killed!
