Lauren's POV

Nandito ako sa klase pero,

Wala ako sa utak -_____-

Paano ko naman sasabihin kay Matt na gusto syang makilala ni dad?

He's not what dad expects him to be.

Will making him pretend be worth it?

I don't want to deceive dad -____-

The bell rang and class was over.

Hinanap ko si Matt.

Madali lang naman hanapin un..

Malapit sa mga lababo.

Sa canteen.

Dun sya palagi nakatayo.

"Matt!" tinawag ko sya as I walk towards his direction. He smiled and scratched his head as I get nearer, "Miss Lauren,"

"Pwede ka ba bukas?"

"Ha? Bukas ho?"

"Oo,"

"Eh.. may trabaho ho ako bukas,"

"Sandali lang naman eh, gusto ka kasing makilala ni dad," biglang namutla si Matt.

"Bakit naman ho?"

"Nabanggit ka kasi ni Stephen sa kanya,"

"Ganon ho ba.. ah, sige, anong oras ho ba?"

"Mga.. tanghalian, dapat nandun ka na,"

Tumango-tango ito at halata namang kinakabahan -_____-

I made my way out of school and was greeted by Stephen.

"Miss De La Vega, hey, our dinner?"

"Baki-"

"I just thought that it's better kung dito nalang tayo manggagaling," nakangiti nyang sinabi.

Ito ang ayoko -____-

Biglaan.

I smiled at him in agreement.

"Sure, let me just inform manong,"

"No need. I've already informed him," napataas ang kilay ko, "Through your dad."

Stephen's POV

I opened the car's door for her.

And then went in and drove off to a fancy restaurant.

I made reservations kaya naman mabilis kaming nakakuha ng mauupuan. This was supposed to be for another girl today, but turns out she's not free.

"Good Evening Sir, Ma'am.. May I take your orders?" pormal na itinanong ng waiter.

I scanned through the menu and made up my mind. "Lauren?"

"I'll have.. This pasta with mushroom sauce with bits of bacons and a glass of.. orange juice."

The waiter nodded and took down Lauren's order, "Sir?"

"Beef steak with spicy gravy, mashed potatoes and a glass of lime juice,"

He took down my order and left.

"So, Lauren," sinabi ko as I put the handkerchief on my lap, "How come your dad doesn't know about.. Matt? Is it?"

Tumango sya and drank some water before answering, "Yes, Matt. And the reason why.. If you don't mind, I can't tell,"
