CHAPTER #10

A/N:  Sorry for not updating for so long. I was busy with my training and our house is under renovation. It is very messy and loud. Anyway, this probably the shortest chapter I've ever done on this book. I'll just make it up for this next chapter.

I STARE on his face for a couple of seconds – trying to figure it out if he was bluffing. My throbbing heart is reaching up to my throat as my mouth slightly parted while waiting for him to continue but he didn't.

It was like he was waiting for my words before he continue. Damn! What should I say? I immediately gathered my messed up thoughts before I clear my throat "You've been thinking about that the whole time?" I mumble almost like a whisper.

"Yeah—"

A smirk formed into my lips before I cross my arms below my breast, "You must really like the reward, Dragneel" I say and I'm really thankful that I can't act like this towards him, I shrugged my shoulder "So what's the answer?"

I swallowed that imaginary food in my throat when he suddenly cross the distance between us. I continue acting calm even though my insides are going wild. I kept staring at him until he reaches my place.

"I actually searched the answer on the google last night" he started "But google's answer doesn't make sense at all." A frowned embedded into my face as I continue waiting for him to continue.

Damn! Why can't he just say it? Why prolonging it?

"Can you just say it? I know for a fact that your answer is wrong" I said. 

I saw him lick his lower lips as his eyes never leave my face. A gasp escaped from my lips when he managed to wrap his arms around my waist as he pulled me closer to his "The answer is..." Natsu uttered as he kept me close to him "Kiss me"

I don't know how to react on his answer. I'm glad he didn't answer my riddle correctly. But at some point in my heart, I feel a little disappointment. Because as usual, he failed to recognize my feelings.

I don't understand, why he kept on having difficulty in knowing what I feel. I don't know if he's just stupid or I'm just good at keeping my secrets.

I tried to get rid that unwanted feeling I felt before I clear my throat and gently remove his arms around my waist. I saw confusion written all over his face but he kept his mouth shut.

"It wasn't the answer, Dragneel" I said.

"I know it wasn't the answer. Like what I've said, the answer of google doesn't make sense" he hiss, "There are too many words that represent your riddles, Heartfilia" he said annoyed.

"Want a hint?" I tease.

His eyes darkened as he pressed his lips together "Fine, I'll give you a hint. It's a kind of feeling, emotion or maybe an act" I says.

"Feeling, emotion or maybe an act?" he scoff "I really thank you for your hint but it doesn't help" he said sarcastically.

I frowned and pouted my lips "Can't you just be grateful?"

"I am being grateful" he said sarcastically.

"You're being sarcastic not grateful" I answered back.

He let out a sigh "Six letters, two words... if the hint is feeling, emotion or maybe an act. Then this might be the possible answers. Move on, hate me, like me, love me, kiss me, lick me and feed me—"

Just like what I've said to him before. If he answer my riddle correctly – I'll kiss him. And so I did. Three seconds. That's how quick I manage to pressed my lips with his. I never thought that I will feel his lips against mine again.

Three seconds...

Three seconds of him in my arms.
