Chapter 29: The Heist

Lumine's P.O.V.

I woke up and I didn't feel right. I don't know why but I feel like somethings gonna happen.

I wake up Kody, who's still sound asleep next to me. I begin to grab him on the shoulders and shake him slightly. "L-Lumine, why are you up so early?" He said half asleep. I leaned over and hugged him

"I'm sorry, I feel like something is wrong." He looked at me confused. "W-What do you mean?"

"I feel like something's off..." I look around the room and realized that we're not in our room, but rather the vault inside the basement. I jump out of bed and look around for a way out. Kody does the same.

I notice on the vault door there was a small notebook with a bookmark in it. I open the book to the bookmark and find five numbers.

I immediately put in the password and the door opens. I start to run out when—

"Lumine, don't you think whoever put us in here did it for a reason?" I nod knowing that he was right.

"I know but I can't just sit here and watch..."

"I know, and I'm not going with you. If they know I'm here, I'll probably never see you again, ok?"

"Yeah, I understand. If you change your mind, then that's fine too, C-ya." I dash up the stairs and quietly turn the corner into the hallway.

I can hear faint yelling in the distance. I run towards the direction of the yelling, which leads me to a room.

I open the door and see Aiden and Kody's mom fighting. Not just verbally, but physically too. Both of them using their magic against each other.

"What is going on!" Everything stops as they both look at me. Suddenly Kody's mom points her gun right at me.

"Y-You..."
