Chapter 4: About Eariler

Kody's P.O.V.

I got up from the couch and walked into my room. I passed Lumine's room, hearing something. I decided to go check it out. I slowly opened the door to investigate.

I slowly stepped into the room.

"W-who is it?" Lumine questioned. He was under his covers on his bed reading.

Sh*t

"It's me." I hesitated.

"Oh...Uh, come in." He cheerfully spoke as he gestured to the bed.

I walked into his room, a sat on the bed while trying not to sit on him. I looked over to the cover of his book, I couldn't understand it, but lit looked interesting.

"What did you want?" Lumine asked as he got up to put the book on a shelf. He then proceeded to sit down next to me.

"I wanted to talk about this morning-" I started to blush.

"It's fine, Kody." As he hugged me. The hug felt good. Not like any other I've had before. "I-Uh kinda liked it." He blushed as he said it.  I was surprised is the response I had got. I leaned over to him. "You wanna try it again?" I said.

"I-ok. That would be nice..." I smiled as I pressed my lips up to his. He accepted it as he kissed me back.

Time skip (nothing happened their 13) because reasons (period(lol)).

Lumine's P.O.V.

After about 5 minutes, I got up to go for a walk. I walked out of Kody's room to the kitchen. I didn't see Camille, so I just walked outside.
I walked to a ledge over a bridge by a store. The air smelled like food.

I thought to myself, 'This is all weird, right? I-I mean, I've never seen this loving, companionate side that Kody has. But I like it. Do I? Yes!...'

"L-Lumine?" I turned around to see Kody.

"Oh, hey, Kody, what's up?" I excitedly said. I wanted to talk to him about his "new" side, but I decided not to.

"Went to look for you. Thought you got lost. Well did you?"

My face turned red. " N-No I didn't get lost..." He glared at me. I sighed. "Fine, I got lost."

"Your hopeless." He exclaimed. I sighed again as we started to walk back. As we were walking, I grabbed his hand. He looked at me and blushed as I then hugged him.

When we got back, I ran to the couch to go under a blanket.

"This is what you get for leaving without a coat." Kody joked.

"U-Uh yeah..."

"Oh, Kody. I have a question."

"Fine."

"Ok. I wanted to know, I've never seen this side of you. Your loving-companionate side."

"Oh." He looked confused. Then he rubs my hair and smiles. "I don't really know. I've never even acted like this around my...dad..." He looked down. "But I lik-love you Lumine. I trust you. So take this as a gift...heh..."

I smiled. "Your one complicated person Kody, y'know?"

He smirked. "Heh..."
