Our Broken Debris

Chapter XXVII

     As we started to eat, we also started to talk about the things that we needed to discuss.

     "So princess, how did you know Seolhi?" Dad asked as Jimin looked at me
      "Uh dad- she's the girl that Jimin- ch-cheated on me" I noticed how my dad tightened his grip on his utensils but still chose to smile
     "Oh I see, I only know what happened but you didn't tell me who" Dad said and playfully narrowed his eyes at me and we both chuckled
     "Well moving on, as far as I know- the debt that you're talking about isn't actually something tangible just like in business right?" My dad said as he chuckled and looked at us
    "Yes dad"
     "So what happened?" He asked as he wipe his lips with the napkin

     I looked at Jin telling him to talk about it and gladly he understood what I meant

    "Mr. Le-" Jin was cut off by dad and we immediately looked at him

     "Call me Uncle, gentlemen. Don't be too formal as if we haven't seen each other for a couple of times and you're also my daughter's best friends and brothers" Everyone seemed flattered on how considerate my dad is as they all smile widely and Jin continued to talk.

     "Yes Uncle- after all what happened to your daughter, me and the guys decided to talk to Seolhi as we promised to your daughter that we'll fix everything for her but everything didn't turn out well. Seolhi told us that she'll talk to her dad to pull out their shares on each of our companies if we'll keep on intruding. As we badly wanted to help your daughter, we can't also risk our companies that's been running for generations. We're so sorry." Jin explained as my dad released a couple of nods and hums as he listen carefully

    "Is that so? Well, I understand everything that you've said Jin and you don't have to say sorry about it. All of you. It's not your fault. I don't know that Mr. Kang's daughter grew up like that, I wonder what kind of man Mr. Kang is, so about it-" My dad was cut off when Drette suddenly speak

     "I'm sorry for interrupting you Uncle but I need to tell you something" I am confused when Drette looked at me then to my dad
    "But Seolhi once bring your daughter's and grandchild's life at risk when she pushed her at the hospital stairs" Drette seriously looked at me as I looked down

     "What?!" Dad banged the table with his palms as he stood up in shock and anger
     "I'm sorry but your dad needs to know" Drette said as our eyes met and I just nodded, understanding the situation that I can't no longer hide it to my father
     "How dare she do that to you?!" Dad raised his voice as everyone of us became nervous
     "Dad please calm down. Please" I said and looked at him
     "How am I suppose to calm down after I knew what that Seolhi did to you, my daughter?!" I massaged my temples, feeling a bit worried about how will dad make an action about this. Jimin on my side softly caressed my back and hold my hand tightly

     "Uncle please calm down" Hobi said as my dad wander his eyes to all of us that's staring down because of nervous. Gladly he calmed down and sighed as he seat

     "My apologies everyone- I am just worried about my daughter. Never in my life, I did something horrible like that to her. Please understand" My dad bowed and we looked at him

     "You don't have to say sorry Uncle. After all, you have the rights to get mad at Seolhi because of what she did to your daughter" Jungkook said and the girls nodded

  "Thank you. Well now, let's talk about how are we going to get the payment of Seolhi about her debt" Dad said and smirked. I sometimes find him scary when he's smirking.

      "Thank you for inviting us for dinner Uncle" Yoongi said and bowed to my dad
     "No problem kids. Anytime. Just call Uncle and you– my Princess, just call Dad anytime. Understood?" He said and playfully glared as all of us nodded and laughed.

     Few days after our dinner meeting, we started to figure out how to caught off guard Seolhi.
     Dad finally read the business proposal from Mr. Kang's company. He also requested some people to investigate and keep an eye to their family as my dad and all of us got curious on why are they so desperate for my dad to approve the proposal; as Mr. Kang kept on asking dad how's the proposal and when will he approve it.
     We finally knew that Seolhi and her father may not know me when they sent an invitation for a dinner meeting to dad, saying that it's their pleasure if I'll come and they're hoping that Seolhi and the only daughter of Lee Corporation will get along.

    I literally hissed on that part of invitation. No way. In her dreams.

    So that's why I love being close to public. It'll be a lot of fun at that dinner. Oh dear. We prepared lots of surprises.

    "Hey– how are you doing?" I looked up at my door seeing Jimin standing there
    "I'm alright. Come in" I closed the book that I was reading as Jimin walk towards me and sat on the bed

     "I just wanted to say thank you for everything. For defending me to your father despite of what I did. Believe me, I truly love you. I do and I always will. Sorry for giving you so much pain while carrying our baby. If I wasn't there for you during those times that you needed me the most. I just wanted to tell you that no matter what happens, always remember that I love you–"
