"Alright Ant, it's your turn," Jasmine said. "Truth or dare?"

"Hmmmmm truth," he responded, rubbing her back.

"Alright, I gotta good one," she told him. "Where was your first kiss?"

He laughed, shaking his head. "I mean, technically it was in the playground at recess in 2nd or 3rd grade. I was getting 'married' to one of the other girls in my class," he said, obviously embarrassed.

"Damn Ramos, you never told me you were catching the girl's eyes from the start," she teased.

"Hey hey hey, you can't tell me you never had one of those fake weddings in elementary school. Someone got married pretty much every week," he responded.

"You're very true. I was supposed to get married to a Brandon Fisher in 4th grade," she told him. "But I found someone better to marry."

He cupped her chin, pulling her in for a soft kiss. They didn't pull apart until there was a loud crack of thunder and Jasmine jumped, burying her face in his neck.

"Ah right, it's raining," Anthony remembered, rubbing her back.

"Jus' distract me please," Jasmine mumbled. "It's my turn."

"Alright, truth or dare?" he asked.

"I'm gonna be brave and say dare," Jasmine responded, smiling.

Anthony thought for a minute before he glanced at the window and an idea came to mind. "I dare you to dance in the rain with me," he said.

Jasmine's smile almost immediately turned into shock. "No, no please, I don't want to," she whispered.

"Baby girl look at me," he said gently, tipping her head up. "I know it terrifies you, but the only way to fight it, is to face it. I'll be right there with you, holding you the entire time and we can go in whenever you want. Just a few seconds at least?"

Jasmine hesitated for a few seconds before nodding. "Okay, I'll do it," she mumbled.

He stood and took her hand, leading her up the stairs and out to the roof. Jasmine took a deep breath before stepping out and pressing herself against him. Anthony wrapped his arms tightly around her, slowly swaying back and forth.

"See, I've got you Jas. You're doing really good so far," he told her, pressing kisses to the top of her head.

Jasmine nodded, closing her eyes. He continued to sway until there was another crack of thunder and she gasped, gripping him tighter.

"I've got you Jas. I'm not letting go," Anthony said. "I know it's loud but it's far away, it's not going to get to us."

She nodded, but kept her eyes shut.

"Can I spin you?" he asked. "Just one, I won't let go of you."

"Y-yeah, that would be okay," she responded.

He gently twirled her, keeping one hand on her waist. She was smiling a bit more when he stopped and wrapped her arm around his neck.

"I feel a bit better," she whispered.

"That's good," he said, kissing her forehead once again.

She slowly started to get more brave, smiling and dancing more. She still jumped at the thunder but Anthony could tell she was making progress.

They went in after an hour and Anthony stopped her in the hallway before they went downstairs.

"I'm really proud of you," he told her, wrapping her up in a hug.

She melted into his embrace, closing her eyes again. "Thank you for daring me to face my fear," she responded.

He nudged his nose against her, kissing her gently. When they had broken away and changed into dry clothes he told her to get comfortable while he went downstairs to make them hot chocolate.

She laid against the headboard, feeling her heart swell with love for him. She glanced down at her ring, tilting her hand so it caught the light.

He came back upstairs a few minutes later, handing her one steaming mug. She immediately curled up against him and said, "Thank you for taking care of me."

"Of course baby," he responded. "I know you'd do the same for me."

"Always," she mumbled.
