Jasmine's eyes flew open as the wave of nausea washed over her. She pushed Anthony's arm off of her and rushed to the bathroom, hunching over the toilet.
Anthony was right behind her, rubbing her back as she threw up.
"This baby better be a fuckin' angel," she mumbled, curling up against his chest.
He stood, handing her a glass of water and a towel. "You're almost done with the first trimester, right?" he asked.
"Mhm, but the doctor said morning sickness doesn't always end after that," she responded.
He hummed in response and picked her up, carrying her back to bed. They cuddled up together and promptly fell asleep for a few more hours.
Jasmine woke up again when the sun started streaming in and rolled over on her back, looking out the window. She looked over at Anthony and brushed her fingers through his hair to wake him up.
"Good morning handsome," she mumbled, smiling when he started shifting.
"Hey Jas," he said, bringing her hand up and kissing her knuckles. "You feelin' better?"
"Mhm," she responded. "We should probably get up now babe." She sat up, leaning down and kissing his forehead.
"I don' wanna get up," he mumbled. "I wanna lay here and cuddle with you."
She giggled, squeezing his hand. "We gotta get up, we both have work," she said.
"I guess..." he said.
She got out of bed, grabbing some clothes and heading to the bathroom to change. She didn't catch a glimpse of her reflection until she was pulling a sweater on, gasping quietly.
"Ant, come here," she said and he came into the bathroom, still rubbing his eyes.
"What is it?" he asked.
She took his hand, placing on his hand on her bump. His eyes immediately widened and a smile grew on his face.
"Oh my god," he whispered.
She giggled, placing her hand over his.
"I'm showing," she said quietly, a smile growing on her face.
"That's our little one," he mumbled. He crouched down, placing kisses all over her stomach.
She giggled, running her fingers through his hair.
He stood, pressing a couple quick kisses to her lips. "I love you," he mumbled.
"I love you too."
