Jasmine knew she wasn't going to be able to sleep anytime soon. It was too quiet here, much different than New York. Her eyes shifted out the window to the the hammock and clear sky. She carefully shifted out of Anthony's arms and went out to the back deck.

It was almost silent outside, there were a few crickets chirping and the ocean waves. She settled into the hammock, gazing out at the stars.

Anthony woke up a half hour later, immediately realizing that Jasmine wasn't next to him. He sat up, panic racing through him as he looked around her frantically.

He finally noticed her out on the deck and blew out a breath, getting out of bed.

Jasmine looked up when she head the back door open and smiled when she saw Anthony.

"Baby, you scared me half to death," he mumbled.

"Sorry," she responded. "I couldn't sleep and the stars looked really pretty."

"They are really pretty," he said. "Mind if I lay with you?"

She nodded, sitting up and he sat on the hammock with her. He laid down and she laid back against his chest. He wrapped his arms around her, gently brushing his thumb over her stomach. She sighed, tucking her head against his chest.

"I'm so glad we decided to come down here," she murmured. "It's nice to finally get away from rehearsals and everything."

"I agree," he responded, pressing gentle kisses to her neck. "Hey, you see those three stars up there?"

Jasmine followed where his finger was pointing and smiled. "Yeah I see them," she said softly.

"That's Orion right there," he told her, watching her face light up.

"Really?" she asked.

"Yeah," he responded, pointing at a different constellation. "And that right there is the big dipper."

"How do you know so much about constellations?" she asked.

"They had a lot of books about astronomy in the library at my high school. I had a few free periods and I would read them while I procrastinated doing my work," he told her.

Jasmine laughed and tucked herself closer to him. "What other constellations are there?" she asked.

"Well, there's a lot of the horoscopes. There's Leo, Aquarius, Virgo, Aries, and Pisces I think," he told her.

"Wow, you really know a lot about the constellations," she said, laughing.

"I procrastinated a lot," he mumbled.

Jasmine smiled, turning over and burying her face in his neck.

"You said you couldn't sleep, what's goin' on?" he asked her.

"It's too quiet," she told him. "Definitely not like New York."

"Ah okay," he said. "We can stay out here until you fall asleep."

She nodded and snuggled closer to him, closing her eyes. He continued to rub her back and press kisses to her forehead and neck. It only took about half an hour for her to fall asleep and he stayed in the hammock for another half hour to make sure she was settled and to check out a few of the constellations to show her tomorrow night.

Once he knew she was fast asleep, he carefully picked her up and carried her back into the bedroom. He laid both of them down and she mumbled something, cuddling closer to him. He brushed his thumb over her back and whispered, "Sleep well baby."
