Calum

It has been exactly three months, two weeks, half a day, four hours, twenty-three minutes and seven seconds since she's been in a coma. I've sat on this flat butt hurting chair every day and night, waiting for the time when she opens her eyes and the first thing she sees is my face.

The boys have come down to check up on us, but whenever they asked me to get some sleep or to go home and shower, I'd refuse a million times until Michael and Luke would drag me away while Ashton would stay with her.

A lot has happened within these three months. Michael and Kayla have become serious, Luke fell in love with Aimee, Ashton, well he's still looking for the right girl. I myself, I've grown to have more feelings for the girl I love the most.

"Cal, have you eaten anything today?" Ashton asked as he came into the room, a beanie covering his bronze curls.

I sighed, shaking my head, making invisible circles on the back of her hand, watching her breathe with the help of the nasal oxygen tube.

Please wake up.

Ashton sighed, placing his hand on my shoulder, giving it a slight squeeze. "Go get something to eat, I'll watch her." I wiped the few tears slipping from my eyes, looking up at him. "Go." He whispered, giving me a slight smile.

I nodded, getting up and releasing her hand and leaning down to kiss her forehead and then her lips, lingering my lips on hers a bit. I walked off towards the door, turning around to see Ashton taking a seat in the chair I was sat at.

I gave him a questioning look, as if asking if he would inform me of anything while I'm gone incase she wakes up. "I'll text you or better yet, I'll run and get you, okay?" He assured me, giving me two thumbs up. That made me smile, something I haven't done in the past three months.

I nodded, walking out the door, my head hung low, tear stained cheeks, and my eyes red and puffy from all the crying I've done. Walking down to the cafeteria was a pain for me, it felt like I was miles away from her, but in reality, I was only a few floors below her.

I bought a simple sandwich and water, not wanting to eat much for the loss of appetite I've been having. I found a table in the far corner, secluded from the rest of the doctors, nurses, staff, and family relatives of patients.

Sitting down, I looked at my sandwich, not wanting to eat anymore from the anxiousness of being away from her. What if she moved her fingers? What if she spoke something? Did she open her eyes already?

Sighing, I sent a quick text to Ashton, asking if anything has happened while I'm down here at the cafeteria.

"How are you holding up, Hood?" I looked up to see Megan take a seat in front of me.

God, she looks a lot like her sister.

"She's still asleep. I just wish she could open her eyes and to hear her lovely voice. It's been three months and nothing has improved other than her scars." My voice was a little raspy since I haven't spoken today for nothing.

A chuckle left her lips as she scanned my eyes, leaning forward and placing her forearms on the table. "I meant you, but from the looks of it. You're actually deeply in love with my little sister."

"I love her more than ever."

"I can tell." She leaned back on her seat.

My phone buzzed as a message from Ashton shown on my screen.

Ashton: She moved her fingers, but after that she started having trouble breathing. Nurses said, she might not wake up, but there are still chances.

My heart dropped and shattered a bit. She can't die. Not even through everything we've been through together.

I love you, Abigail Marie Batoon.
