Abigail.

I stormed off to my bedroom and closed the door shut, locking it behind me. My back pressed against the wooden door. The worst thing that I wished that would never happen, just happened.

"Abi, open the door!" Calum knocked on the door. "We need to talk!" The knocks became louder.

Tears strolled down my checks. My heart pounded every second. I laid my head back on the door. "There's nothing to talk about!" I yelled back.

I could hear Calum sigh from the other side of the door. "Abi, please let me explain." A sudden thump was heard from the door.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I turned and opened the door. Calum stumbled forward to my sudden reaction. He caught his balance on time. He stepped forward, too close for my liking.

"Abi, I'm so-" He began, but I cut him off by pushing him back.

"What? That your sorry that you cheated on me? That you went off with a random chick since I'm not that good for you? Or is it because I haven't given you my virginity?" My sudden rant left Calum with a surprised look.

He lifted his hands in front of him as if in defense. "No, Abi it's not-I'm sorry okay! I didn't mean-" I rolled my eyes as I pushed past him, accidentally bumping my shoulder against his.

He followed me to the living room where I grabbed my phone and keys off of the coffee table. "You didn't mean what? To cheat on me?" He placed his hand on my shoulder.

"Abi, I said I was-" I shook off his hand from my shoulder and walked off to the door. "Why do you always have to cut me off like that?" He raised his voice just a bit.

I turned to face him. "Why did you have to cheat on me like that?" I reworded his sentence.

"I said I was fucken sorry! Why don't you ever listen to me? It was only one night! It won't fucken happen again!" I was taken aback from his sudden reaction. Calum had never yelled at me before.

Hot tears streamed down my cheeks once more. "Shit." Calum mumbled. I turned to the door and opened it. There stood Michael and Luke just outside the door ready to knock.

"Oh hey Abi, we just-are you crying?" Michael's smile instantly went to a quick worried look.

"Hey guys, I-I'll see you guys later." I bowed my head and ran out the door.

"Abi, wait!" Calum yelled before I was out of his reach.

I ran towards the park. The only place where I could be alone and relieve myself. It was my only escape. It was where I could get lost when I didn't want to be found. I walked around until I found the playground. The swing set was the first place I went to.

I sat on the swing and slowly pushed myself with my feet. The cool air brushing against my face. The tears dried on my cheeks, but I didn't care. All I cared about was being left alone for a while, maybe even for the whole day and maybe the next.

I closed my eyes as I came to a stop on the swing. The memory of Calum cheating made my heartbreak into little pieces. How could he had done that to me? Why now? Tears started forming in my eyes, ready to descend on my cheeks.

"Why so lonely?" A deep voice whispered in my ear making me jump out of my seat on the swing.

I turned to face the person. Ashton. He giggled at my actions. I cleared my eyes from the tears that were about to fall.

"Freakin Ash, you scared the crap out of me!" I gave a slight giggle. Ashton sat on the swing and laughed out loud as he clutched his stomach. "Oh shut up."

He stopped laughing and starred at me contently. "Abi, were you crying?" I looked at him and shook my head. I lied. He signaled me to go over to him. I followed his command and stood in front of him. He grabbed my waist and pulled me down to his lap. "Tell daddy Ash what happened." He said with a goofy smile.

I looked down at my hands that were on my lap. "Calum...Calum cheated on me..." Tears started forming in my eyes once more.

"Aw Abi, don't worry. I'll kick his ass for you. I promise." He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him as he laid his chin on my shoulder.

"No it's okay. I'm going to move out tomorrow."

"What? Where are you moving to?" He lifted his chin up and tilted it to the side, his warm breath hitting my cheek.

"I was wondering if I can move in with you guys."

His eyebrows knot together. "Are you sure you want to move in with us? I mean, the lads can be a bit...crazy." I gave a little chuckle.

"I can handle them." I reassured him.

He smiled and hugged me, he nuzzled his face against my neck. "I still think Cal should get a beat down. I mean he's an asshole for what he did to you." I sighed and bowed my head.

"Can we not talk about him?" I rubbed my temple with my free hand. Ash only tightened his grip on me.

"Sure thing bud."

2hours later

Ashton had insisted on driving me back home since it was 12am. We sat in his car which was a block away from my house. "Thank you Ash, you didn't really need to do this you know?" I turned in my seat to face him.

He turned his head and looked at me with a smile. "It's the least I can do for my buddy." He patted my shoulder.

I smiled as I turned to open the door. "Abi?" Ashton asked. I turned to look at him as he surprised me with an embrace. "Good luck Abs." He pulled back and lifted his hand up with his thumb up.

"Thank you, Ash. Goodnight." I got out of his car and shut it. I stood next to his car as he leaned down to look up at me.

"Goodnight Abi." With that he drove off into the foggy night. The taillights of his car fading into the dark streets. I waved good bye.

Ashton was such a good friend. He was always there for me when crap like this came up. He was practically my shoulder to cry on.

So, as I walked to my house I saw that the porch light was still on. I sighed deeply and went to go inside. As I opened the door the lights were off. I closed the door slowly and quietly. I walked off to the living room and placed my keys on the coffee table. I went to my bedroom and closed my door behind me. My head slowly laid on the wood of the door. I sighed deeply of knowing that I would need to tell Calum tomorrow that I would be moving out and with his friends.

"Abi? Is that you?" A slight deep voice came from behind me making me jump. I twirled around and saw Calum get up from my bed with the teddy bear he had bought for me on Valentine's day.

"What are you doing in my room, Calum? Get out!" I said matter-of-factly. Still it felt like it was a bit harsh.

He placed the teddy bear on my desk and walked towards me. "Abi, please let me stay with you tonight. I'm really sorry." He tried to grab my hands, but I moved to the side.

"Don't touch me. Please." I bowed my head and hugged my sides.

"But Abi."

"Please, Calum. I want to sleep. Can you please leave me alone?" A tear escaped my eye. I stepped aside as he went to open my door to leave.

Without another word he walked out and closed my door behind him. I changed into my pajamas and went to bed. My pillows smelled of him. That only caused me to cry even more. I curled into a ball and cried myself to sleep.
