Chapter 4

Beam's pov:

I could see that Forth was excited the moment he saw the amusement park.

His eyes were shining and i could tell he was barely keeping himself from jumping out of the car and running in.

So cute!

"Let's go!" I said getting out of the car.

We went inside and Forth was looking around with wide eyes which resembled a puppy's. He looked like a child who came to the amusement park for the first time.

"Is this your first time in an amusement park?" I asked him.

He looked at me and his expression changed to a sad one. He slowly nodded.

"Ok then! Let's go enjoy!" i said grabbing his hand and dragging him to the haunted house.

He wasn't really scared. He was actually completely mesmerised by everything in there. From the jump scares to the decorations.

I couldn't help but sneak some pictures of him. He looked so adorable.

After we came out of the haunted house, i was wondering where we should go to next. Forth suddenly grabbed my hand and pointed towards the roller coaster.

I smiled brightly.

He actually initiated something! That's a little progress.

We went on the roller coaster. Forth didn't stop smiling even for a second.

He looked as if he had reverted to a small child. I didn't mind one bit. I was actually happy that he was enjoying this so much.

After that we tried out some more rides before deciding to take a break and get something to eat.

I brought him to one of the benches and told him to wait there while i got us some food and drinks. He tried to refuse at first but the moment i said i won't let him go on anymore rides if he keeps this up, he gave in and obediently sat down.

He kept swinging his legs while eating and his eyes were shining.

He's so cute! This is not good for my heart! I can't handle this much cuteness oh my god!

By the time we finished eating it was already dark. So i decided to go to the ferris wheel. Forth happily obliged.

The higher we got the more beautiful the scnery outside got. We could see the lights of the city. Forth was glued to window. He was completely mesmerised by the beautiful view.

Of course i sneaked some pictures as well. How can i not. He's so adorable.

After we got off the ferris wheel we decided to head back. Forth's smile didn't leave his face even after we got into the car. Before i could start driving, he tugged at my sleeve.

Umm... Can you send me some of the pictures you took?

"Sure." i smiled.

I took out my phone and gave it to him after opening the gallery.

"Select the pictures you want and send them to your phone."

While i was driving i could see that Forth would sometimes blush when he came across some pictures.

Ah. He must have seen the ones i sneaked secretly.

When we got to his place, he was still scrolling through the pictures and didn't notice we had reached. I just kept silent and watched him with a contented smile on my face.

When he was finally done, he looked up and saw me staring at him. He instantly blushed a deep red. Then he looked around and realised we were infront of his place. He blushed even harder.

My heart!

I barely kept myself from pouncing on him and wrapping my arms around him tightly.

He gave my phone back and got out of the car.

"See you tomorrow. I'll text you." i said to him.

He smiled and waved before going inside.

When he disappeared into the building i started driving back to my place.

My face was starting to hurt because i couldn't stop smiling. I felt so contented. I want to him smiling like that all the time.

That night i slept peacefully with a smile on my face.
