Beam's pov:

3 weeks passed. He still didn't wake up.

They removed the incubator and replaced it with an oxygen mask. They said he's responding well to the treatment so that's one good thing.

I'm currently on my way to the hospital.

For the last 3 weeks I've been going back and forth between the hospital and university. I only go to my dorm to shower, get some few hours of sleep or get the books i need for classes.

When i entered the room he was still sleeping soundly. I slowly sat down next to him and took his hand.

"Love its already been 3 weeks. Please wake up. I miss talking to you." I gently stroked his hair.

I put my head on the bed and closed my eyes.

I immediately shot up from the chair when i felt a slight twitch of his fingers.

"Forth!" Tears formed in my eyes.

He slowly opened his eyes. He blinked a few times before looking around.

He looked at me and grimaced.

He pointed at his throat.

"Are you thirsty?" I asked.

He nodded.

I quickly poured some water into a glass and helped him drink it slowly while i pressed the button to call a nurse.

When she came and saw what was happening, she immediately ran to get the doctor.

I sat down on the bed beside him after keeping the glass back on the small table.

"I was so worried when you didn't wake up for 3 weeks." I said softly.

Tears streamed down my face.

He wanted to touch my face but he couldn't reach since i was sitting a little farther.

I bent down and leaned into his touch.

He gently wiped my tears and smiled at me warmly.

I couldn't help but smile back.

Just then the doctor came in.

I got up and let him check on him.

"Seems like all the side effects have passed. You recovered well." He smiled after checking all his vitals.

"We'll keep you here for four more days to make sure everything is ok before letting you go." He added.

Forth and i nodded.

Forth tried to sit up but since he was still too weak, he couldn't muster the strength.

"Do you want to sit up?" The doctor asked.

Forth nodded.

We helped him sit up leaning on the headboard.

"Can i talk to you for a minute?" he then turned to me.

We went outside and closed the door.

"He's currently very weak. He will need help moving around for the next few days. He might suddenly feel dizzy sometimes. That's normal. His body is recovering very fast so it's taking up all his energy." He explained.

I nodded.

"Also i would suggest not stressing him out too much. In his current condition if he gets stressed out, it will have a bad effect on his recovery. He might even go back into a coma." He added.
