Chapter 26

Forth's pov:

I was drawing my fifth attempt when p'Mark came into the room.

"Hey how's it going?" He sat down next to me.

I frowned and shook my head.

"Can't come up with something good?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Don't get too stressed. I'm sure you can come up with something absolutely stunning. And you only need one day to actually make it so you have plenty of time." He pat my head.

I nodded again.

Just then Beam came into the room. 

"Hey i'm back." He smiled. 

I smiled and quickly turned off my tablet. 

He came and stood near me.

"My parents are in the living room. They want to meet you." He said.

I blinked a few times before opening my eyes widely. 

"It's going to be fine. They already know about you. I showed them some pictures of you even. They are really excited to meet you. Come on." He assured me when he saw my expression. 

I looked at him hesitantly. 

"I've lost count of how many hours i've spent listening to Bran and Mila talking about how adorable you are. I'm sure you'll be fine." P'Mark added. 

I blushed profusely and looked down.

I could hear Beam chuckling.

"Let's go." Beam took my hand gently. 

I hesitantly stood up we walked out of the room. 

When we went to the living room, there was a middle aged couple sitting on the couch.

I could immediately see the resemblance between Beam and his mom. He also has some of his dad's features but he looked more like his mom.

"Oh my! You look even better in person!" His mom squealed when she saw me. 

She jumped up from the couch and walked towards me. Beam's dad followed close behind with a smile on his face. 

"My name is Mila. I'm Beam's mom. And this is Bran his dad. It's nice to finally meet you Forth." She smiled brightly.

I smiled sheepishly and nodded. 

"I can see why Beam fell in love with you." His dad added. 

My face burned up.

"Awww you're so adorable!" Beam's mom squealed. "Oh you can just call us mom and dad. Since you're dating our Beam that makes you our son as well." 

I blinked surprised but nodded eventually. I managed to hold the tears that were threatening to escape. 

"Where's Ellie?" P'Mark asked.

"She said she'll be here in a few minutes. She got caught up in a meeting." mom turned to him.

I looked at Beam questioning. 

"Ellie is my older sister." He smiled. 

I nodded. 

We sat down on the couch.

Beam's parents asked me different questions about my life and i answered as honestly as i could. I noticed that they never mentioned anything about my parents or family. I guess Beam told them about it already.
