Forth's pov:

We are now sitting in the waiting room.

I can't help but get nervous.

On one hand there's the hope of being able to talk but on the other hand there's the chance that it's already too late.

I gripped my hands tightly and looked down at my lap.

"Hey." Beam put his hand on mine.

I looked at him.

"It's ok. Even if you are not able to talk we'll be here. Nothing's going to change about the way feel about you." He assured me.

P'Mark was sitting on his other side. He nodded in agreement.

I bit my lips and nodded.

"Mr. Forth jaturapoom?" A nurse came in.

We stood up.

"Which one of you is Mr. Jaturapoom?" She asked.

I raised my hand.

"Only one person is allowed to go in with the patient." She turned to Beam and P'Mark.

I turned to them.

"You two go ahead. I'll wait here." P'Mark looked at us.

Beam and i nodded.

We followed her.

"Dr. Tee Mr. Jaturapoom is here." She opened the door after knocking.

"Ok bring him in." I could hear a male voice answer.

"You can go in now." She turned to us.

We nodded and went inside.

When we went in, there was a doctor sitting behind the desk.

He had pale skin and had an air of femininity about him.

He looked like he was in his late twenties.

"Hey Tee." Beam smiled at him.

"Hey Beam. It's been a while." He got up and came to us.

"You must be Forth." He turned to me.

I smiled back and nodded.

"I'm Tee jaruijitranon. Mrs. Mila has told me about your case. I've already asked them to prepare things for a CT scan. Let's go." He led us outside.

We went into another room which had a CT scanner in the middle of it.

"Beam wait outside for a while. I'll take it from here." He turned to Beam.

He nodded and gave me a reassuring look before going out.

After we were done with the scan, Dr. Tee led us back to his office.

"It will take around 20 minutes for them to get the full results." He said.

We nodded.

"Tell me about him a little." He turned to Beam after we settle down on the chairs infront of his desk.

"He was born mute. He said it was a birth defect. He was taken to the doctor when he was 7. He was told he would be able to talk if he goes to a speech therapist. But his bastard of a father apparently didn't have that kind of money to spare." He growled out the last part.

Dr. Tee frowned.

"Is he not well off?" He turned to me.

I shook my head.
