chapter 30

Forth's pov:

Today is finally the day. Beam's birthday.

 It took four days but i finally managed to come up with a good design. I took the measurements from his clothes in the closet. 

Right now i'm doing some finishing touches on it. 

Mom told me she's planning a surprise party for him. I'm going to go help her out after i finish this.

After around twenty minutes, i stepped back and observed my work.

I smiled satisfied with the result. 

Just then p'Mark came into the room. 

He froze when he saw it. He raised his eyebrows. 

"Woah... You sure you don't want to release that?" He asked.

I nodded and took my phone. 

I want this one to be only for Beam.

"I'm actually kinda jealous of him..." P'Mark mumbled softly with a small pout.

I chuckled. 

"Since you're done with that let's go prepare for the party shall we?" He smiled. 

I nodded happily. 

We made our way to mom and dad's place. 

"You're here!" Mom came out of the kitchen. 

"Did you finish what you were working on?" Dad was putting up decorations.

I nodded. 

"Ok then, we have a lot of work to do. Beam will be here by 7." Mom clapped her hands. 

I helped dad with the decorations while p'Mark helped mom with cooking. 

Pha and Kit are in charge of making sure Beam doesn't get here too early. 

By the time everything was set, it was already 6:30. 

"They must be on their way now." P'Mark said. 

We turned off the lights and got ready. 

I could hear the sound of the front door opening. 

"What? Why is it so dark in here?" Beam's voice came. 

I came out with the cake. There were lit candles on it. 

Mom, dad, p'Mark, Pha and Kit started singing happy birthday. 

Beam was frozen for a second. A wide smile appeared on his face after he recovered.

"So this is why you guys have been dragging me all around town the whole day?" He turned to Pha and Kit. 

They smirked and shrugged.

 "Come on blow the candles and make a wish." Mom said. 

Beam came closer to me and blew out the candles. He closed his eyes for a few seconds before opening them.
