She longingly looked at her brother and sister in law picture posed along her favourite niece Roohi, they're the lifelines of their family and this place appears like dead in their absence. She was disappointed with the series of events happened in their family which eventually caused a dispute and forced her elder brother to leave the family, the same family he loved more than his life.
Simmi was in dilemma to call her brother or not when her gaze fell on her younger sister in law, Sarika who walked out from her new bedroom or better said the bedroom which was of her Ishita and Raman bhai, Ishita and Raman chose everything by their own for their room, the color, the curtains, furniture everything was of their choice and they spend days to select it, they had their own plans for their room but sadly nothing came true. The room they decorated with so much love is belongs to someone else now and Simmi was frustrated over everything happening around them.
"Simmi didi good morning. Should I bring tea for you?"
"No thanks." Simmi replied dryly and walked towards kitchen to keep her empty mug in basin.
"What should I make for breakfast?" She heard Sarika voice who appearently stood behind of her.
"Prepare whatever you want. Afterall that's what you wished. To have all control on every household activity." Simmi taunted Sarika while preparing breakfast for her daughter, Ananya.
"Simmi di, don't say like that. Please don't accuse me for something I never wished." Sarika replied having tears in her eyes. She bowed her head with tears in her eyes.
"Just stop it Sarika. Show these tears on whom it affects and just go away from here. Do whatever you want these what you wished always." Simmi murmured angrily continued to cook breakfast too much irritated with Sarika presence. She was more worried for her mother who is going to return back from London from Shaila Bua place, she loved her family dearly and Simmi can imagine what strom will be come to their way when she will come to know about the same. Simmi hurriedly served the paratha in plate and started to feed her two years old daughter Ananya. Simmi was busy in making her daughter eat the food when she saw Romi, her younger brother coming out from his room with scum face. She passed him a cold glare and busied in her work she was going previously. From the corner of her eyes she saw Romi picking up the newspaper and how his expressions changed as he read the supplement paper. "Oh wow! It's just two days since they left the place and they're already partying. They have no ounce of sadness for leaving the place and you was taunting my wife? How can you do that with us Simmi di?"
"Stop talking nonsense Romi and you dare not to raise your volume infront of me. You get that!!" Simmi yelled matching her brother tone with red angry eyes. Before the argument between siblings heated up, two persons standing at doorway caught their attention. "Mumma!!" Simmi and Romi spoke together seeing Santhosh standing at doorway.
