Ishita and Raman cars almost entered inside the premises at the same time. They quizzed their brows finding the premises pitch dark, unlikely for the people's owing place at posh locality of Delhi. Raman wondered why generators aren't working. Aaditya and Roohi were alone at home and they might get frightened. Pata nahi bacche kab se andhere mein honge, kam se kam call toh karna chahiye tha na mujhe. (I don't know since when kids were staying in darkness. Atleast they should have inform me.) Raman sensed Ishita presence near to him who was talking to herself which was more like conveying her worries to herself, he knows Ishita often get over worried even if a small trouble hover around Roohi and this behaviour of her increased especially after they started to live seperate. Ishita always had a proud joint family behind her back which played a major hand behind her perfect professional and personal life but as they started to live seperate a big question rose infront of her to raise Roohi alone. Yes she is capable enough to raise her seven years old daughter but she was skeptical if she would be able to give her the love of her grandparents, Aunts and Uncle. Raman always believed on Ishita and her efficiency but his overthinking wife doesn't, hence he made sure to give her encouraging pat whenever it's possible.
"Calm down. Chalo chalke dekhte hai." (Clam down. Let's go and check them.) Raman calmed Ishita in soft tone, tightening his hold around her wrist. They were about to call guards when Roohi loud voice coming from the lawn left them worried.
"Papa.....IshiMa.....jaldi yahan aao." (Papa IshiMa come here...) Raman and Ishita ran towards lawn without caring of darkness carrying the doubts and worries in their heads. As the both reached at the party spot, the lights came alive leaving Ishita and Raman eyes dazzle for first few seconds. The doubts regarding Aaditya and Roohi safety restored back in their heats and took a moment to capture the decoration of the lawn which was eye catching. The hanging jar lanterns was illuminating the entire garden, a dinner table was arranged in middle, covered with white cloth surrounded by her favourite lilies. The bushy trees in their gardens were illuminating golden as the jar lanterns were hung on those. Around the trees, the various pictures of Ishita and Roohi were decorated with the entire family members. Ishita was numb and spellbound at the same time, she curiously looked at Roohi who came running towards her and wrapped her arms around her legs.
"IshiMa I know you might have forgotten but Roohi and Papa doesn't. It's a very special day for us." Roohi who was dressed in the white frilled frock chimed cheerfully leaving her mother confused.
"Which day Rooh?" Ishita asked curiously sitting on her knees.
"It's the day when Roohi and IshiMa met for the first time and hence, it's a Mother's Day for me." Ishita blinked her eyes recalling the day when her little angel came in her life. She cannot forget that evening when she saved an innocent girl from getting hit. The innocent girl concerned for the little puppy that she almost put her life on stake.
Aapka Naam kya hai beta?
(What is your name dear?)Loohi
Ishita chuckled recalling the moment when Roohi spelled her name. "Betu. You remembered that day?" Ishita asked in surprised tone wondering how come her little daughter remembers that date?
"No. Paati and Dadi told me. Happy Mother's Day IshiMa." Roohi planted a kiss on her mother forehead leaving Ishita teary eyed. Roohi took Ishita hand in one and Raman in another as she took them towards where the sitting arrangements were made, once reaching near the dining table, Roohi gracefully made her mother seated and asked other to take seat. "IshiMa, I know, worldwide Mother's Day celebrated on second Sunday of May month but for me today is that day since we met that day for first time." Roohi cupped her mother face, her eyes was shining with happiness, the spark in her eyes can be seen by everyone who was the part of the evening.
