LUTYENS, DELHI"Hello Dadi."
"Aadi Puttar, kaisa hai tu. Padhai kaisi chal rahi hai teri?" (Aadi how are you.?)
"Acchi chal rahi hai Dadi, aap sab kaise ho aur Dadu kaise hai?" (I am fine Dadi, how is Dadu?)
"Changi hoon puttar aur tere Dadu bhi acche hai. Tu humse milne kab aayega puttar?" (He is doing fine as well. Are you planning to meet us?)
"Jaldi hi Dadi, kal mera exam hai uske baad. Dadu hai?" (Yes yes soon. Maybe tomorrow. Is Dadu around?)
"Haan beta, ruk ja karwati hoon baat." (Yes sure.) The phone went in Om Prakash hands, his old eyes welled up with tears seeing his grandson enthusiastic face on the screen. "Dadu, kaise ho aap?" (How are you Dadu?)
"Acch....accha hoon beta. Tu kaisa hai? Yahan....yahan milne aayega tu?" (I am fine dear. When you're coming to meet us?)
"Han Dadu, kal pakka school se hi. Dadi ko kehna kal mere liye chole banaye, Papa batate hai ki mujhe bachpan mein Dadi ke haath ke chole bohot pasand the. Kal mujhe khilaaoge na?" (Tomorrow for sure. Tell Dadi to make Chole for me, we will have lunch together.)
"Han beta." The conversation lasted for few minutes before the call disconnected. Aaditya passed the iPad back to his father who was looking at him with a gaze full of admiration. Raman passed the tray of milk and breakfast to Aaditya, tomorrow he had his term exams which failed to clear previously. Aaditya is preparing for his exams sincerely this time, his sincerity and commitment towards his studies was praiseworthy. Raman usually does his workout at morning and before going to gym, he make sure to prepare Aaditya breakfast and give him in his room. Today when he was preparing breakfast for him, his mother called him and asked if she could have some words with Aaditya.
Raman immediately asked Aaditya to make a call to his grandparents and they had a wonderful conversation over there. Raman didn't interfered in between but he was glad to found that Aaditya is willing to bond well with his grandparents.
"Aadi your term papers will conduct tomorrow only?"
"Yes Papa, term papers contains less marks and an hour long. So they decided to take my paper in one stretch."
"Are you prepared for it?"
"Yes Papa don't worry. Sir is tutoring me nicely and even Ishita Aunty helped me alot in memorising Science concepts."
"Okay than you keep studying." Raman ruffled Aaditya hairs and exited his room. Instead of going back to his room he went upstairs where his sister and wife were waiting for him for morning tea. Raman picked the glass of juice and took a seat beside his wife who was eagerly looking for him.
"Simmi, have you thought about disclosing your and Abhimanyu relationship with family?" Simmi kept the cup down and pressed her lips, instead of replying she started to play with her nails. The idea of revealing her relationship with Abhimanyu made her nervous somewhere. Her mother often expressed her concern for her remaining life, like every other mother even Santhosh Bhalla wishes to see her kids happily settled. After her elder son divorce, Santhosh was heartbroken to see her daughter divorcing as well but at the same time she was glad that her daughter finally realised her husband true colors. Few months after her divorce proceedings, one fine day Santhosh asked Simmi to keep her faith alive kn the love and marriage, she didn't wished her daughter to walk on the same path of hate where her son walked. The bitter marriage was enough to turn Simmi as a permissive but she didn't instead she remained hopeful for her future and assured her mother about not loosing her faith on love and marriage ever.
