TERMINAL 3
INDIRA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, NEW DELHI.

Few Days Later

Shagun Khanna walked out from the Arrivals gate of terminal 3 all dead and tired. The thirteen hours journey in economy class indeed left her exhausted along with terrible back pain. She keeps wheeling her luggage and sat in the Uber taxi she booked for herself. She leaned back against the car seat, uncared to roll up the glasses of her cab, allowing the hot and humid air of summery afternoon of Delhi to touch her skin. When she left Delhi along with her husband she never thought if she is going to fall into such a dilemma which can leave her shattered and devastated.

She had no option left except divorcing her husband, Ashok Khanna.

Shagun's face was turning pale thinking about her doomed marriage and her relationship falling apart. The thought of spending her life alone without the status of being Ashok Khanna wife was eating her up, Shagun had spent years to make her place among the high society of Delhi, her famous dressing sense and styles didn't come in a day but Shagun had to spend fortune to maintain that. No way no way main aisa kuch nahi hone doongi, mujhe kuch toh karna hi padega. (I won't let happen anything bad with me. I have to do something as soon as I can.)

Shagun hadn't informed anyone about her sudden arrival back to Delhi, she wanted to sort out feel things and make some plans for her future in case she needs to divorce Ashok. She keeps tapping the foot as the car entered the Karol Bagh, the place where she used to stay before her marriage, Karol Bagh being an old prominent area of Delhi was crowded like usual days, the humid sun was making impossible for her to breathe, she is no longer habitual of breathing in such crowded air. The cab soon stopped in front of the old looking building and she stepped outside of the cab taking her luggage along.

Rajeshwari Building

The name of the building was still there in shiny red paint but otherwise, the yellow paint on the building was peeling off mostly, she entered inside of the building straightway and went on the second floor taking the dirty staircases. What a shabby building it is. Shagun snorted with irritation and stopped in front of the flat number 202, owned by Prakash Arora, her late father. The only property her late middle-class father left for them ever. Shagun rang the bell and smiled seeing the lady who welcomed her.

Mumma!!!

Shagun exclaimed in delight and hugged her mother Poornima Ji. "How was your flight Shagun?" Poornima Prakash questioned her daughter while handling her a glass of water.

"Okkish. What else we can expect from an economy class." Shagun replied in a grumbled tone looking at her old house who was still as before, the paint of the wall peeled off, the dust stains were showcasing everywhere. The furniture was old and worn out reminding Shagun what pathetic life she had before marrying her ex husband.

"Okay tell me what important issue you want to discuss with me." Her mother drew her attention sitting next to her.

"Mumma. Ashok wants me to divorce him." A horror stuck on Poornima Prakash's face listening to her daughter's words.

"Tell me it's a lie." Poornima wanted her daughter to repeat her words.

"Unfortunately it isn't Mom, everything became a mess. If it didn't sort then I have no option left except divorcing Ashok." Shagun told her mother with a deadpan face.

"Par aisa kya ho gaya hai ki tumhe Ashok ko divorce dena hi padega?" (But what happened all of sudden?) Her mother questioned her again, trying to understand the situation.
