Deidara x Reader (Love is a bang)

Days had passed and Deidara was taking you out in the forest to show you his 'art' you smiled as he exploded the forest with pride. Deidara's ego was so big it could probably crush somebodies mental state alive but somehow, it came to your liking. Nobody could change him.

You snapped out of your thoughts as Deidara handed you a bag of clay. "Why don't you make something too, yeah?" He said with a smile. His hair waved just enough for you to see his eye gadget. "Why don't I?" You hummed as you gently took the bag and stood up. You didn't know what to make. You began to roll the clay around and watched as Deidara made things with such ease. You eyed the bird that was still tied to your wrist and began to make another one of it.

You didn't know why you put so much time in it when you knew for sure that it was going to be blown up anyways. As you patted the clay into a bird, you smiled and handed it to Deidara. "Done!" You said, showing a smile at your low quality bird. Maybe it was a piece of crap. The thought just made you scoff at yourself.

Deidara clearly saw the similarities between the bird he gave you and this and put it in his cloak. "Oh no, is it too bad to be apart of your art?" You smiled playfully and Deidara just blushed a bit before playing with his own hair. "Perhaps, un" he said, crossing his arms before he wrapped his arms around your shoulder gently and pulling you close. You looked at the sunset. You wanted to tell him how you felt right now. You looked at him then back at the ground.

You had gotten feelings for him but you two were S-rank criminals. You two had no time for love. This wasn't some sort of fairy tail with a happy ending. This was reality(you wish) and you two had to focus on your jobs. "Dei.." you whispered but trailed off. "Dei? Is that a nickname for me?" Deidara smiled so widely it made him look mad. He is stuck up, as usual. You smirked at him. "Deidei" you joked, trying to get yourself to forget about your deep thoughts. "Deidei.. I like that, un" he nodded with acceptance and closed his eyes.

Suddenly, you felt other people around and Deidara must've felt it too. You both jumped out of the way as a kunai came flying towards you both. You clenched your teeth. As you and Deidara landed on the ground, back to back, you saw Anbu. "These stupid anbu are everywhere" you growled before you pulled out a figure. You smirked as you looked at it. It was a eagle figure. "Transformation jutsu!" You yelled as you turned into a bird. "I'll deal with these two" you said before you flew straight up. There were four in total. You flapped open your wings. "Fire release: great fire ball!" You yelled before blowing a fire ball at the anbu and flapping your wings widely to make the fire much larger. One of the anbu yelled something and suddenly the fire was gone and it was raining.

  "Crap- it's a water nature" you grunt before turning back to normal and landing on the ground with a loud thump. You made hand signs and tried to blow a bigger fireball but nothing big happened. "Why do I feel so weak" you murmur before making your eyes widen. This wasn't some natural rain. "I didn't notice!" You hiss before dodging an attack from the Anbu. You made hand signs before appearing behind one of them and bit down on their neck. Forget the fact you were a human, you would bite these idiots apart if you needed. You yanked back and tore a big amount of skin away from the Anbu, drawing a puddle of blood.

You gag at the sight of what you just did before spitting out the skin and spitting more to get rid of the blood. "Gross!" You hiss as one of the Anbu's fell. You stuck your tongue out and lifted your gaze to glare at the anbu. He wasn't moving. It was then that you suddenly felt a sharp pain in your arm, legs and chest. You coughed up blood in complete shock.

You looked down to see spears stabbed into you. "W-what" you gasp in shock, wide eyed. Suddenly, the world around you blurred before you were able to see again. The one anbu was behind you. "A genjutsu" you gasped out as the realization hit you. "How could I not tell? I can usually tell.." you smirked as blood travelled down your mouth. Deidara's explosion went on in the distance before you heard footsteps.

You didn't know how you were alive. Was it the will to see the precious face of the godly Deidei? Probably so. When he saw you, his prideful smile disappeared into shock. You were on your knees, a spear through your chest and blood going down your mouth. Deidara backed away before the anbu jumped at him and attempted to use a jutsu on him, but the anbu suddenly exploded. Deidara ignored the blood and rushed up to you. "Y/N?" He panicked, picking you up gently before he pulled out the spears. "Y/N, don't die" he told you, face serious.
