Deidara x Reader (Love is a bang)

Now that Hidan and Kakuzu were gone, your mission was done. Your mission was just to tag along. You made sure to leave no scent traces so you traveled in the air on your clay bird. Unlike Deidara's bird, yours didn't explode but the traps and tricks that you included in it were deadly. Poison in the mouth and sharp claws. Your bird may look cute but it had razor sharp teeth and claws.

You smiled with pride as you sat on the head of the bird, biting your lips with happiness. A day passes and you make it back to the base. You jump off the bird and shrank it before tossing it into your bag. You walked into the cave and smiled as you placed your hands onto your hips and breathed in the familiar scent.

How you missed this place. You stretched before you saw Deidara who showed a friendly smirk and approached you before pulling you into a friendly headlock. "Soo?" He asked. "Hidan and Kakuzu died, just as I said" you reported and he nodded with satisfaction. "That's good to hear, yeah. Anything else?" He asked before he sat down. You boredly leaned onto him and played with his long hair before thinking. "I met an old friend" you hummed quietly.

"But I didn't see the Kyūbi." You said. "I probably would've died if I went against Shikamaru. He's smart and even Hidan looked scared for a moment." You stated as Deidara stared at your neck. You tilt your head before looking down and seeing the very light bruises on your neck. "Ah.." you murmured. "That's what I meant." You told him and he just made a bitter expression. "That stupid Hidan." He growled before he pulled you in protectively. "I wish I could've killed him myself, un" he said as he wrapped his arms around your waist lovingly.

"I got the ring" you said as you showed your finger. Tobi walked out of the shadows and looked. "Oh! Tobi likes the new ring!" He said before waved his arms happily. You smiled before looking down. "It's a shame though, Hidan could have been much stronger if he had a brain in his head" you chuckled. Deidara nodded strongly with amusement. "I guess so" he uttered.

As you spoke, Tobi handed you water and told you to drink it. You smiled before nodding and drinking it down quickly and handing the cup back to him with a quiet "thank you." Tobi sharply nodded before he loudly spoke "Tobi is good boy!" And ran off with the cup.

  You stretched and grave Deidara the left over of the clay he gave you. "Thanks for this, by the way" you hummed. "Actually, why don't we go make some of your art with this?" You smirked as you made the suggestion. Deidara jumped up and nodded strongly with agreement. "That's a great idea, un!" He said before he began to walk outside the base. You smiled with amusement as Deidara began to blow things up.

How you missed seeing him screaming "Art is an explosion!" Pridefully while he destroyed things. He threw his arms up happily as he smiled down at his art. You looked down again and saw the damage done. You never wanted to get on Deidara's bad side. He might even blow you up. You chuckled at the though before you grabbed a snake figure and tossed it down.

You had forgotten to do your daily patrol and you didn't want to get scolded by anybody so you decided to let your figures do it for you. You turned back to Deidara and hugged him from behind. "Went good I'm guessing?" You asked him. "Un" he hummed in response and gently pat your head.  As the bird began to glide down, your snake slithered back to you and you placed your head onto the snake, linking what it saw to your eyes. One anbu. "Dei I have to go and deal with somebody" you muttered before you walked away. You landed on the tree and glared sharply around before walking deeper into the forest and seeing the anbu. You pulled out a kunai and tied an explosive tag to it before throwing it at them.

The anbu quickly jumped out of the way before turning to you. "Akatsuki!" The deep voice gasped. "Damn right, and I'm killing you here!" You smirked before pulling out a bird figure and tossing it behind you so he wouldn't notice. "That's if you can" he growled before he made hand signs and blew fire towards you. You smiled before making hand signs as well and yelling "Fire release: great fire ball!" And blew fire towards him. You made strings before lashing it out towards him. The anbu quickly jumped out of the way and you turn around as you saw another clone. Crap.

You manage to jump out of the way in time before he lashes a needle down. You saw the needle and instantly notice that they weren't here to kill you. They were here to kidnap you and gather information. "I won't let you take me" you hummed before you threw needles and made hand signs and breathe out air to make faster. You jumped into a tree and clenched your teeth. You threw strings around and made sure they were nearly everywhere. You grabbed a shot and sighed. "I wanted to use this for something better but" you murmured. This was poison and it would burn your skin when touched. You pressed the shot into the chakra strings before putting the poison in and jumping around. This was a big risk for you too.

"Let's have some fun!" You smiled in a friendly manner as you landed in front of the anbu.
