You shook your head. You can pick your side at the last moment. If you saved the opponents they would probably let you in. At least that's how stupid the opponents were. Letting people in so easily. That's what caused this war mostly.

You shrugged and sat down, gathering chakra in your body before standing up and running. You had to find Deidara. You ran to the forest for awhile before you found a group. A sand village member with purple paint-like markings on his face. If you remembered correctly, he was Kankurō, Gaara's brother.

You then turned to see a puppet which was violently shuddering. "Let me out, Un!" A voice yelled from inside, making you smirk at yourself. He stood a distance away from the puppet, clearly on guard. This was definitely like him. You pulled out a scroll and put your hands together. "Release!" You whispered. Your akatsuki cloak and a mask came out with a poof. Kankurō shifted swiftly at the sudden noise and stood up and heading towards your direction.

You put the mask on and then the cloak afterwards before jumping down and landing on your feet in front of the man. "Hi" you smiled before producing your strings and glaring at him. You kept in mind that this was also a puppet user and eyed the puppet, which still violently shuddered.

"Deidara stop acting like you're going to die!" You called, which made the shuddering stop suddenly. "Y/N?" Deidara gasped, softly. "I can't let you free him." The man with makeup said, smirking lightly. "I knew you were going to say something like that." You responded in a monotone voice.

You lashed the string from one hand forward in an attempt to cut the puppet open, but Kankurō seemed to react quickly and connected his strings to yours and pulled you roughly. You yelped before using your other hand to successfully release Deidara from the puppet by slicing it. You may have accidentally sliced his arm off from the process but that was alright.

Deidara eyed his arms and gasped. "You cut my arm off, yeah!" He said, making you chuckle. "It'll regenerate, Deidara. Calm down" you said, as you were on the ground. You soon looked up and grinned at Kankurō. "My business here is done." You hummed, mockery in your voice. You yanked your strings and pulled him down to your level too. "I'm not that stupid." You said, voice low. "Stay away from my lover or I'll kill you" you growled before making your strings go away.

He clenched his teeth before pulling out scrolls. You jumped in front of Deidara and smirked. "I'm almost done with my jutsu, Dei." You smiled. "It would have been much easier if you didn't blow your own body up. Be thankful I have a jar full of your blood" you chuckled and gripped Deidara's hand. "Let's hope the war hurried up and ends itself though, un" he smiled and gave your hand a tight squeeze.

You saw a puff of smoke and then a few puppets. "I'm not immortal like you.. soo.. I'm running" you said before you dragged him off, hearing Kankurō yell out in anger. You felt followed and giggled. "Kankurō could have poison on his weapons too. I'm not risking my own life" you said, smiling as you heard a scoff of amusement from Deidara.

"It seems like they knew your weakness too." You said, teasingly. "Shut up, yeah! They were just lucky!" He said, clearly angry about the fact that these ninjas knew his weakness.
