"Clay, do you really need me to paint you a picture? I am not in the mood for your freaking company!" I yelled turning around to face him.
Although, it wasn't him. Oh no, no. It happened to one of the cutest guys my brown, oh so adorable orbs had ever laid eyes on.
The shock written on his face was unmistakably cringe worthy. I bowed my head into my hands, before looking up to see if this were truly not a dream.
"I'm such a bitch." I breathed out, guilt hitting me like a bucket of ice, cold water.
His features lightened up at my remark. I don't really know whether I should feel offended or relieved. "Ha ha, no you're not. Trust me, I have had much worse said to me in the past." He chuckled.
I blushed as I watched his smile never dimming, along with the cute dimples that had formed on his cheeks.
"Although, I've never had anyone call me Clay before." He smirked.
"Yeah, about that." I shrugged sheepishly. "You see my brother, Clay, and I had this huge fight. I'm currently on the run, to stay away from him."
"Yeah, family can be complicating at times." He smirked.
I simply nodded in reply, not really knowing what to say after that. I looked up at him, to see him staring at me, with a sly smirk fastened to his lips.
"So, you think I'm cute do you?" He grinned. Oh crap.
"Ah, did I just say that?" I squeaked, my cheeks flushing red.
"Eem... No, not exactly. But don't worry, I think you're pretty cute too." He smiled, showing off his white, shiny teeth.
Wait, is he implying that he read my mind? Why is everyone so crazy in this town? Is there something in the water, maybe?
"I bet you're just saying that to make things a little less awkward." I chuckled quietly.
"And why would I do that?" He asked, a frown washing over his face.
"Well, if you couldn't already tell, I'm not really someone who gets a lot of compliments." I shrugged.
"Well I beg to differ. You're too beautiful to not get at least a few heads turning your way." He replied with a smile.
During my shocked state, I took it upon myself to look at him in more detail. He looks around my age, yet I have never seen him in school. Hopefully he doesn't go to our school. I don't want him to know about my past, like everyone else does.
"Well maybe they do, I just don't take notice." I smirked.
"Why would you do that?" He asked, stepping forwards.
"I... I guess, it's because I don't really know any of them. I would at least like to get to know someone, before I start dating them. " I mumbled. Way to ruin the mood Allie.
"Is that so?" He laughed, stepping even closer towards me. He and I, only inches away from each other.
I have no idea who this guy is, but I have never had anyone pay this much attention to me before. So how is he so different?
"Yea, pretty much." I breathed.
With his hand, he pushed back a few loose strands of my wild hair behind my ear. My breath was caught at the back of my throat.
"Well, you don't know me." He smiled, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, what's your name?" I asked, suppressing a smile.
