I'm Coming Back, Manila

"Happy 1st, love." 

Caeleb smiled at me before giving me a tight hug. Everything seems fine and safe when I'm with him. He kissed my forehead. We just decided to celebrate here at my condo because we're both busy these past few days. We're both busy with our plates and studies at the same time. Ngayon na lang kami nakapagkita ulit.

"Musta plates mo?" He asked before eating his food. Nagpadeliver lang kami para hindi masyadong hassle.

"Uh.. All good, love. Sunod-sunod lang pero kaya naman." I gave him a small smile.

"Okay. If may matutulong ako, just call or text me, alright?" 

"Yes, love. Kaya ko naman. Atsaka ayaw ko rin namang istorbohin ka. You're also busy with your plates eh, diba?" I looked at his eyes.

"Yes. Kaya pa rin naman kitang tulungan." He smiled. I was about to talk but suddenly his phone rang. He raised his palm as a wait gesture and I just nod, agad ding nawala ang ngiti sa mga labi ko.

"Hello, Sam?" Sagot niya sa phone. Ako tumuloy lang sa pagkain. "Ano?! Teka?! Umiiyak ka ba? Teka lang!" He's panicking now. "Shit! I'm on my way, sige na, pack her things now." He stood up and ended the call. I looked at him, I felt my heart was crashed.. again.

"Love, It's just.. emergency. Uh- babawi ako, okay? Finish your food." He kissed my forehead before walking out of my unit. I let our a heavy sighed and wipe my tears because It started falling.

 "Kaibigan lang 'yon, Manila." I closed my eyes and sighed deeply. "Ikaw ang mahal ni Caeleb." Sabi ko sa sarili ko. I stood up and started to fix my kitchen table. I just throw away the foods, wala na rin naman kakain niyan.

After cleaning, I decided to went inside my room and lie down on my bed. Pero ilang oras na ang lumipas, hindi pa rin ako tulog. Nagiisip-isip pa rin ako. Hindi ko namang maiwasang hindi masaktan dahil sa mga nangyayari. Ang bigat lang.

The next day, I woke up at 1 pm, still no texts or calls from Caeleb. I decided to text him kung nasaan na siya o maayos ba ang kalagayan niya ngayon. Wala 'kong gana ngayon, kumain lang ako ng kung ano meron sa ref at nagantay lang ulit ng oras hanggang mag gabi. Nang sumapit ang kagabihan, humiga lang ulit ako sa kama ko at nagantay hanggang makatulog.

The next day, I woke up at 5 am and I badly need to get ready for school. Wala pa rin akong kagana-gana gumalaw. I took a bath and brushed my teeth after. I decided to wear a simple pink tee partnered with a denim pants and black low-cut boots. I bun my hair and got my tote bag, I'm off to school now. 

"You look pale," Ellie held the both sides of my cheeks and I'm kinda dizzy right now. 

"I want to eat," Simpleng sabi ko sa kanila ni Zoe. Agad naman kaming pumunta sa malapit sa Coffee shop. Ellie ordred for us, kami ni Zoe ang naiwan sa lamesa.

"May sakit ka ba?" Zoe put the back of her hands on my forehead. "Hindi ka naman mainit. Ikwento mo na 'yang problema na 'yan."
