"Bakit hindi mo kayang sagutin?"

Nagtatakang tanong ni Caeleb. Agad naman akong umupo ulit sa sala, sumunod na lang din naman siya. Ayoko man palungkutin ang pasko na 'to, pero siguro, ito na rin ang tamang oras para malaman niya ang lahat. Sa susunod na araw na rin kasi ang lipad namin pa Tokyo.

"Uh-" I sighed. "I can but there's something you... need to know." I looked at him and at the same time, I held his hands.

"What?" He's confused. 

"You know that... I love you, right? You also know that I won't leave you." I gave him a convincing smile. 

"Y-Yes.." He slowly nod. "Ano.. na naman, 'yan?" He sighed. "Just say it now. Please, be straight forward.." 

"Do you remember the time that my mother called me and pumunta rin tayo agad sa Valenzuela?" I looked at our hands..

"Yes." He nods. "Pupunta kayo ng Tokyo and you'll stay there for good." 

I looked at his eyes immediately. Alam niya. Paano niya nalaman? My heart crushes after hearing what he just said. "A-Alam m-mo?" Tanong ko sa kaniya.

"Yes. I was about to enter your house that time because I was going to pee. But when I opened the door, mukhang seryoso kayo ni Tita na naguusap and I heard what she said. Ayon." He raised his brows.

"C-Cae.." I swallowed hard. 

"I love you no matter what happens.." He cupped my face. "Just trust me, we can face this. Stop crying.." He wiped my tears.

"Natatakot ako. I've talked with my friends kung may tumatagal sa LDR. I also did a research, onti lang ang tumatagal with LDR." I overthink. na naman. 

"Don't you trust me enough?" He looked into my face. "As soon as possible, susundan kita duon. Mag tiwala ka lang." He held my hands to calm me down. "We can do this. We can win this. Okay?" He nods, trying to convince me.

"I'm sorry. Hindi ko agad sinabi sa'yo." I looked down, guilty. "But.. trust me. Gustong gusto ko na sabihin sa'yo at... humahanap lang ako ng magandang oras para sabihin pero naduduwag talaga ako... I overthink a lot." I sighed.

"Narinig ko naman eh," He chuckled a bit. "Kaya nga, mas sinusulit ko ang mga araw natin na mag kasama dahil alam kong aalis ka. Atleast, we spent our remaining times together." He gave me a convincing smile. 

"Sa tingin mo, hindi natin dapat tapusin kung ano man ang meron tayo ngayon?" I nervously looked at his eyes. Kasi, paano kung pumayag siya? Edi, ako naman ang nawalan. Gosh, confusing!

"Sa tingin mo ba, papayag ako? Tanginang tanong 'yan." He sighed. "Alam mo namang halos lahat ng bagay kaya kong gawin para sayo. Tapos, tatanungin mo 'ko nang ganyan?"
