"Alam mo, puro ka biro. Matulog na nga lang tayo."
I closed my eyes and let myself sleep. Pero si Caeleb, napakaclingy kapag gabi! I felt his aarms encircling on my waist and pulling me closer to him.
"Hindi 'yon biro. Ito puro biro tingin sakin." He whispered.
"Matulog na," I shot back.
The next day, I woke up without Caeleb on my side. I stood up and did my morning routine inside the bathroom before I go down. I tied up my hair into ponytail before sitting on the chair in front of Caeleb.
"Good morning," He smirked.
"Luh?" I made a disgusting face towards him. "Ano na naman 'yon?"
"I greeted you tapos ayan ibabalik mo sakin? Ang sama!" He shook his head.
"Why are you smirking kasi?" I rolled my eyes while putting some foods on my plate.
"Because I cooked breakfast for you! I'm just smiling! not smirking! Weirdo!" He almost rolled his eyes. "Parang baliw, pinagluto na susungitan pa 'ko."
"Oh," I chuckled. "Sorry na, okay? Nakakatakot kasi." I laughed.
"Ewan ko sayo." He shook his head.
We started eating quietly again. I stopped eating when my phone rang. I was shocked at first because It's Mom. After 2 years, ngayon na lang ata ulit siya tumawag. I was hoping that she won't scream or nag me.
"Si Mommy." I looked at Caeleb.
"You answer it na." He gave me a warm and convincing smile.
"Feel ko bubungangaan niya lang ako." Sagot ko.
"Ngayon na lang 'yan ulit diba? Answer it, please?" He smiled again.
"Okay," I slowly nod while answering her call.
[ Amanda ] M-Ma..
[ Mommy ] Anak..
Ngayon niya na lang ulit akong tinawag na 'anak'. Gusto kong maiyak, dahil ngayon na lang ulit 'to. I don't even know If I'm still considered as her daughter.
[ Mommy ] Anak.
[ Amanda ] Y-Yes, Ma?
[ Mommy ] Sabi ko, pumunta ka dito. Umuwi ka.
