I'm Coming Back, Manila

"Taguig 'yong place where my house is located. Minimal renovation lang. Don't  worry. I also want a very good Architect."

I placed my pen back on the table while looking at Engineer Andy. I wonder what team she has. Sana lang nandito rin si Amanda, para malaman ko kung ayos ba siya. I just heard from my 'spy' friends that Amanda is working as an Architect for Andy's team. 

"Hay nako, sir! Magaling 'to! Graduate ng DLSU! For sure, hindi ka bibiguin nito." Engineer Andy waved her brows. 

Sana nga, hindi siya 'ko nabigo nuon. I had a lots of expectations kasi. Even me, I hated myself that time. Disappointed. 

"What is her name?" I asked while putting my hands together. They're sweating, kinakabahan ako sa isasagot ni Andy.

"Amanda Alcazar." Engineer Andy answered. 

"Alright. Simulan na agad ang project as soon as possible." I replied back.

"Uh- My apologies. My son is sick. I need to check on him time to time. I'm sincerely sorry for being late." 

It was Manila, who's late for our first meeting. So, lalake pala ang anak niya. I'm happy for her. I know the struggle that she went through alone. Nakakalungkot lang, ngayon ko na lang siya nakita ulit after how many years of finding her. I hope that she and her baby is doing okay and healthy.

"Kahit next week mo na ipasa 'yong blueprint. Mas importante 'yong anak mo." 

I've been in pain for a long period of time. It's not bad to forgive and forget the bad things that happened in the past. I know that his son is the one who's giving her strength to move forward and that makes her happy. With that, I also love what she love, especially her child. 

"Things changed after almost 2 years." I suddenly opened up the topic, ang tahimik kasi. Alam ko ring inaantay niya lang ako magsalita.

"Uh- I'm- happy for you. May bahay ka na." She replied.

"Hindi pa sakin 'yon." I glanced at her. "Ililipat pa lang sa pangalan ko." Dagdag ko.

Oh, atleast. Sayo na 'yon soon." She gave me a small smile.

"K-Kamusta na 'yong anak mo?" I suddenly asked. I just want to know kung ano na nangyayari sa anak niya. That's not bad naman! I just want to ask! Chismoso na ba 'ko non? I don't care.

"He's fine. Nilalagnat pa rin." 

"So, he's a boy.." I replied with a soft voice. "Gusto ko ring anak, lalake sana ang first born." Akin sana 'yon eh, gago lang talaga si Jay.

"Oo,"

"Ano pangalan niya?" I asked. Hindi naman masama mag tanong kapag may gusto kang malaman. Lalo na kapag tungkol sa kaniya. "Huy ano pangalan niya?" Tanong ko ulit. She's like zoning out kasi.
