"Umalis ka ba kagabi?" Just like my usual routine, nandito na naman ako sa kwarto ni Aezy. Of course, para libangin ang sarili ko dahil wala akong ibang magawa.

I looked at her with a surprised expression. "What? How did you know?"

She closed her book and faced me. "You were trying to sneak out carefully, but your footsteps woke me up, Xynnah,"

"Really?! Ang tahimik na nga lang ng bawat hakbang ko!"

Aezy chuckled. "Alam mo naman ako. Kahit kaluskos lang, nagigising ako ka agad,"

I couldn't help, but agree. Aezy was a total opposite of me. Especially, when you would wake her up. Kapag siya ginigising, wala na siyang ibang sinasabi. Tumatayo na agad siya. But, dare to wake me up in the middle of my deep sleep and you'll see yourself on the floor.

Pinagpatuloy lang ni Aezy ang pagre-review habang ako naman ay nanonood. I took a glance at my phone beside my table. It felt like my hand was a magnet made exclusively for my phone. So, I reached for it.

I tried to be in touch with Elisa again, because I couldn't resist her. Pero, hindi ko pa rin sinasabi sa kaniya kung na saan talaga ako. Every time she would ask me, ini-inbox zoned ko lang siya.

I was quietly scrolling on my newsfeed when my phone beeped. Napatingin ako sa notifications ko. Maximo Colt Fablo? Who's this guy? Hindi ako nanga-accept ng mga taong hindi ko kilala. Hello?! My father was a public figure. He has influence everywhere most especially in his covered area.

I remember before... My Daddy took me in an area that's unfamiliar to me. Yes, I am judgmental talaga, and I admit that! But, I really cringed when some boys my age were taking a pic of me. Like- I think someone who has been captured would also freak out?! Nakakatakot pa, they added me on Facebook, kaya kinabukasan pa lang, gumawa ako ng bagong account! I was about to visit the guy's profile when it beeped again.

I gasped. The only person who drove me yesterday was-- Pinindot ko na ang profile nito at nabigla akong siya nga ang nag-add sa'kin.

"Putangina?" I stated in disbelief.

"Ang lutong, Xynnah. Mas malutong pa sa benteng galing sa bulsa ng ninong ko," Aezy replied. She stopped reading her book, I apologized immediately.

"Ano ba 'yan? Bakit ka napamura?"

"Nothing... It's just some... business?"

"Business? Are you currently interested in business?"

"No! No! Nabigla lang ako. I'm sorry again. Continue reading na," I defended. I scrolled through his profile. His bio was "saka mo na ako angasan kung papayag ka sa 1v1 🔥". Most of his shared posts were... memes. And his recent post made me furrow my eyebrow.
