King's Medical Center, 8:15 am

"What are you doing out of bed?!" He rushes over to me and puts a hand on my non-injured shoulder

"Well I woke up and tried going back to sleep but you two kept shouting like parrots," I say as I lean on the door frame for extra support.

"I'm so glad you're okay!" Aisha walks over to me and gives me a light hug so that she doesn't hurt me. She then pulls away and slaps my arm, "You're so stupid!"

I flinch away from her but accidentally hit my injured arm on the door in the process, "Ah!"

"Not my fault," She holds her hands up in surrender and steps backwards so that Maxwell could hug me.

"You really are stupid," He looks at me and quickly slaps my arm.

"Ugh, I got the job done alright, and I'm fine!" I lean back on the door frame and look at every one. Suddenly, I feel someone nudge my arm and I snap my head up to look at the blue-eyed man next to me. With my eyebrows furrowed together, I give him a 'What the hell are you doing' look.

"Looked like fun," he crosses his arms again whilst smiling down at me.

I roll my eyes and drag the beeping monitor with me back to my bed, all of them following me in like little ducklings following their mom. Placing my self down on the edge of the bed, I gently put the weight of my body onto the elbow of my good arm and scoot my self back until I was sat against the headboard.

"So, where is the memory stick?" Anderson looks at me with his hands behind his back. Whenever he spoke and he was in that stance, it meant he was in no mood for small talk but unfortunately for him, I like to push his buttons,

"Ah straight down to business, it's nice to see you too- well it's not but-"

"Oh you're awake," I didn't see the nurse walk in, but just as quickly as she walks in, she walks out again, saying that she'll bring the doctor with her.

The door to my room should be a revolving door because when she walks out, Danny appears, holding two cups of coffee in his hands,

"Oh you're awake," he says the exact same words as the nurse as he walks further into the room, "here take Steve's coffee,"

"Hey," he raises his hand in protest

"What, she just woke up," Danny turns to face Steve after he gives me the coffee.

"Exactly, I've been here for hours," Steve says to him

"Wait, you have?" I look at Steve, a weird sensation tickling my chest.

"Commander!" Anderson steps forward, grabbing all of our attention, "The memory stick,"

Steve takes a sharp breath, "Right, a member of my team is decrypting the files over at HQ,"

"Okay then, let's go," He says and starts to make his way out of the door.

Me being me, I swing my legs over to the side of the bed (carefully of course) and pull off that thing that goes on your finger to read your pulse.

"No no, where do you think you're going," Steve steps towards me, looking like he was ready to block me from walking out.

"You heard the man," my voice raises a few octaves

"Okay I can't believe I'm agreeing with you," Danny says to Steve before turning to me, "but he's right, you have to bullet holes in you"

"Erm correction, I have zero holes because they're all stitched up, my boo-boos are all better," I say as I stand up
