“Holy hell! They were hot! I told you there would be eye candy, and Jacob is so into you!
“He’s sweet.  Don't know about how into me he is. He was being nice.” Jessica says as she picks at her nails.
“Look, a guy is not gonna ask for your number if he is just being nice.” She says as she smacked me on the arm. We head over to the bleachers where the bull riding will take place. We take our seats and wait for them to start.  We sit and watch as several men take their turns to compete. We laugh as the rodeo clowns do their work to entertain the audience and distract the bulls for the guys that have gotten thrown off. Then I look over and I see him head down the aisle to his stall. He looked good.  The way his shirt clung to his broad shoulders and clung to his muscular chest.  His jeans that sit low on his hips and hugged his perfect rear end, and the chaps that framed it. His body was perfect and she could feel her cheeks flush. She watched as he ran his hand through his dark hair and placed his cowboy hat back on his head. He turned to see her and smiled as he climbed up the pen to sit on the back of the large beast. He cinched up as they called out his name to be next.
“That bull looks angry. It makes me nervous.” She said quietly
“They are all crazy. It makes for more excitement and more of a challenge.” Just then they open the gates and the bull tears out buckin and turning. Jacob is being thrown around, but holds his own. He is able to hold on for the full eight seconds and jumps off. The clowns distract the bull and send it down the shoot. Jacob makes his way out of the back of the ring. It wasn’t too long and he was headed over to them.
“You looked awesome out there”
“Thanks, could have done better.”
“I couldn’t tell” Crystal chimes in.
“Well, I have another ride tomorrow, so I have another chance to redeem myself.”  They had been sitting and talking for a few when Brad came and sat down next to Crystal. She smiled as he sat down.
“That was a sick ride, dude. You are in second place. You got this. Tighten it up some and you could take first place.”
“Yeah, but tomorrow I got a hard ride. I have to ride killer tomorrow and very few have ever ridden the full eight.”
“I have faith in you, you’ll do great.” Jessica says while smiling.
“Thanks, doll. That means a lot.”
“So y’all want to head out later for dinner and dancing” Brad says never taking his eyes off of Crystal.
“That would be awesome. We have to find a hotel though so we don’t have to drive back home late.” Crystal said
“Don’t think you’ll find a place here. They are usually booked solid this weekend. But if y’all don’t care, you can stay at our place. It is actually my brother’s place and they are out of town this weekend and he lets me use his place while they are gone. There are plenty enough rooms for everyone and you won’t have to look all over town” Jacob says with a questioning look hoping they would say yes.
“Are you sure? Don’t want to impose. That would be great” Jessica says thankfully.
“It’s no problem. Besides I’ll get to be with you for longer.”
“Well, then I guess we are staying with you”

Jacob’s point of view
I am grinning from ear to ear. She will be with me all weekend. I can’t believe it. Here I thought I would never see her again. Now I get the whole weekend to get to know her. It's going to be the best weekend ever.
“Alright then, we just have to get back and get our gear together and be right back.”
“We will follow you back to your house then.” Crystal says standing up and starting to head down the bleachers.
“Be back in a few.” Brad gets up and heads back with Jacob to get their gear.
Jessica’s point of view
The butterflies in my stomach are dancing and flipping. Was this a good idea to say I would stay at his place? He says he has other rooms to stay in. Do I trust him? Maybe a little, but after Tony I just can’t fall so quickly and get my heart broken again. I push my fears away and go find Crystal.  It’s time I put Tony to rest and start moving on with my life and maybe find someone who actually loves me for me.  It wasn’t too long before the guys found us again.  We followed them to their truck and they took us to our car so we could follow them back to their house.
